About
Grill Your Own Korean Feast in Kapolei
Stepping into Sura Hawaii II brings the high-energy sizzle of Seoul straight to West Oahu. As you walk in, the immediate sound of marinated bulgogi hitting hot metal plates fills the air, mingling with the savory aroma of sesame oil and fermented kimchi. It is the kind of place designed for communal dining—perfect for groups who don’t mind getting a little rowdy while managing the tabletop grills themselves.
The Flavors of the Peninsula
The menu leans heavily into traditional Korean comfort food. The beef brisket is a local favorite, thinly sliced to achieve that perfect crisp-to-tender ratio after only a few seconds on the fire. You will find the classic spread of banchan—small, shareable side dishes—hitting the table almost as soon as you sit down. The spicy tofu stew offers a deep, warming kick, ideal for balancing out the richer, grilled meats. If you prefer a faster meal, their bi bim bop arrives in a scorching stone bowl that keeps the rice crackling until the very last bite.
What to Expect
Sura Hawaii II keeps things straightforward and functional. While the space can get quite loud during the dinner rush, that is part of its charm. It is unpretentious and focused squarely on getting good food out of the kitchen quickly. Be prepared for a lively atmosphere where the focus is firmly on the conversation at your table and the steady rotation of grilled proteins. Parking in the surrounding Kapolei commercial hubs can occasionally get tight, especially on weekend evenings, so plan to arrive a few minutes early to secure a spot before your reservation.

Fantastic food and service 💕 The staff was great, they recommended dishes and demonstrated the use of each item. The food tastes amazing and filling. The prices are extremely reasonable. All you can eat for $20/person until 5pm then $26/person from there after. I recommend the White Grape Rice Wine and the shrimp platter with the tofu soup. The restaurant seemed kid friendly as there were several children in the restaurant and children 3 and under eat free.

All you can’t eat for $26.99 Not a bad deal as they have cook your own and also good that is cooked for you. The Korean beer is also cheap.... Kloud for $2 The meats you can order in 3 per table to start. I thought it would be little bit after round 2 it was enough. The kim chee is pretty authentic with a slight sour taste 🤩

First time here. We went on a weeknight for dinner. Did not wait for seating. Small menu but the food was good, some of which we cooked at the table and some was made to order. Great service team made our visit enjoyable.

My Five Star reviews are few and far between. For overall quality of the food, the atmosphere, and service Sura Hawaii would get a 4 star review, which for me is near perfect BUT the one thing that pushes this over into that fifth star is the AUTHENTICITY. Details you wouldn't notice unless you've spent some time eating your way across South Korea where hit at this fantastic beef and leaf. Things like the dishes, the brand of the spoons, the water pitchers etc. It's like I was transported back to Korea. (minus the price of course) for America, $26 all you can eat with this quality of food is a great deal. In SK you're looking more at like $15 for a place like this. The Kimchee was fantastic, and the gojujong was decent. The cuts of meat were pretty good quality and they bring you a good amount with each order. Anyway, as far as authentic Korean barbecue goes, it's recommended this place, especially for the location. But it's recommend eating AFTER you shop so you're not Walk ng around with the meat sweats the rest of the time stinking like barbecue 😂

All you can eat option available for lunch and dinner. Make sure you're really hungry. There's a lot of options on both meat and hot foods. Meats are really good. I ordered BBQ chicken, boneless kalbi and brisket. All were delicious. For hot food I ordered pork fried rice, which the rice was very hard. It tasted old. And it was plain. The service was fast, yet it wasn't really busy when I went (around 230pm). I would suggest to do half order for those meats you aren't so sure, to avoid wasting food.

Today was the first time we ate here. It took a few minuyes for our party of 2 to be seated. One we were seated we immediately got water, lettuce and na mul delivered to our table. Our waitress followed up a minute later and turned on our grill. She also explained the all ypu can eat process, which limited the total amount of meat that could be delivered at one time. We ordered our meats and wgen it arrived the portions are much larger than similar places. The meat looked good. We ordered premium steak, .marinated kalbi and steak, and pork belly. All of the meat was fabulous; however, i will stick with the marinated meat the next time. My wife also placed an order of octopus, which she mixed with the kim chee soup below. We also ordered kim chee soup, bi bim bap and mandoo fried chicked. These items were prepared in the kitchen and included in the all you can eat price. I would recommend that people order slowly. If you ever need anything there is a button on the table you can press. When i pressed the button our server can to our table in about 20 seconds. All of the staff was helpful and friendly.

Went here with a group of friends and had an amazing experience. This place has a variety of options to choose from. The staff is really enthusiastic to show you how to barbecue properly, so don't worry about eating raw meat. The meat comes with a variety of sides: iced tea, Mac n cheese and egg. None of the meat options are too spicy and some of them are on the sweeter side.
