Paradise Cove Luau

Paradise Cove Luau is one of those places where the setting does most of the talking and it speaks fluently. The oceanfront views are absolutely phenomenal, the kind that make you pause mid-conversation and just take it all in. Sunset over the water alone feels like part of the show. The food is good and satisfying, and the performances are genuinely entertaining, with enough energy, fire, and storytelling to keep both kids and adults engaged. It is clearly designed to be family-friendly, and they execute that well. There is a sense of ease here. No rushing, no pressure, just a well-paced evening that works for all ages. Now, the one hiccup: the drinks. They are on the expensive side, and the pours are wildly inconsistent. One cocktail might be decent, the next feels like a hopeful memory of alcohol. It is not a deal-breaker, but it is noticeable, especially given the price point. That said, Paradise Cove Luau delivers where it matters most: incredible views, good food, fun shows, and a welcoming atmosphere for families. Go for the scenery, stay for the experience, and maybe temper expectations at the bar. Overall, it is a great night out and a classic Oahu experience done right.

Absolutely stunning setting for this Luau. Great service. Unfortunately its closing down at the end of the year. We are unsure but think this may have been why it was not as good of a show as one of us had experienced before. The games and photo opportunities were great but slight rushed.

One of the best locations for a luau with beautiful sunset and stage. The show could have been better. It was ok. Food is like any other luau. Luau are not for the food but the show. Fire dance and dance performers were nice but the commentary was lacking excitement.

We didn't stay in the hotel but we went to the Luau and we had a great evening! The service and food was good. All you can eat. They offered drink Tickets to start as well. The show was very cool and scenery was second to none!

This is my first and probably last luau. Although the location is stellar and you're surrounded by lush beautiful greenery with a great view of the sunset, I was a little disappointed with the food. The food was mediocre at best. The chicken was a little overcooked. The pulled pork was okay. The fried fish was the best protein. The desserts disappeared pretty quickly. There were some preshow activities like throwing a spear and bowling. Numerous windows were open for serving adult beverages. The staff were all friendly. The show itself seems long in the wind with numerous dance routines of similar ilk. The chiefs doing their fire dances were excellent.

My third time attending this luau, and for the rest of my family it was the first time. My rating is based on my family's overall enjoyment of this event. They absolutely loved it which is why it gets the five stars. There were also quite a few improvements to the program and the venue from when I last attended this event 18 years ago. The new emu amphitheatre for the ceremonial roast pig is a nice touch, and there were plenty of activities and for the kids to enjoy such as getting temporary tattoos, spear throwing, stick bowling, pictures with parrots, and learning some of the dances. The music and entertainment was also good and our host/MC was very entertaining! The fire knife dance towards the end was very good, and although it may not be as impressive if you've seen shows with multiple fire knife dances like the Polynesian Cultural Center's "Ha", it was very good for a luau setting. The dinner buffet was very good, and they expanded the selections from the last time when I was here where it was strictly traditional Hawaiian luau food. Now they have various salads, dinner rolls, main courses like fish and chicken for those who aren't keen on Kahlua pork or Hawaiian macaroni salad. I haven't even gotten to the views, and that is this venues' biggest selling point. Being on the southwest corner of Oahu on Ko Olina, the sunsets are as picturesque as they come, and the surrounding beaches and landscape are what most would envision a romantic spot in Hawaii on the seashore to look like. If you are looking for a luau to experience for the first time, I would highly recommend this event. Choose at least the Orchid package for the best experience.

Absolutely phenomenal sunset views from this luau location. Unbeatable. We had premium tickets through a Viking cruise excursion. Front row.... Couldn't be better. Servers were all extremely friendly, and lots of value added activities like spear throwing, temporary tattoos, hula lessons, kayaks, etc. Delicious food, so much choice, and large clean washroom areas. The main event dancers were the cream of the crop, especially the fire dancers. Visit included a photo with the local Hawaiian dancers. (We did not stay at the hotel.)

This was an amazing show. The location is so beautiful. It's a bit of a drive from Waikīkī and we got caught in a lot of traffic. It was well worth it. The workers were so friendly and efficient. We were seated quickly and got our food quickly. The food was delicious. The singers and dancers were incredible. The band was awesome. Very fun. The sunset was incredible. The fire dancers really made the show.

I thought this was a really good luau and value for your money. It was a super organized and fun filled night -They had a lot of different activities to do: jewelry stores, so many beautiful scenic sunset photo opportunities, taking pictures with the birds, henna art, spear throwing, and hula performance. -the dinner was surprisingly really good and we enjoyed the meal. While you’re eating dinner, they put on a really good show of dancing and performances.

15 years later this place is still the best. Great fun for all ages. Wonderfull show and excellent food. Drink menu has grown and everything was great. My kids loved the activities and the fire show and hula dancing was the best ever. When you think it's done they do more.
