Island-Style Fuel in the Heart of Kapolei
When you need a quick, substantial bite while navigating the bustling commercial center of Kapolei, Paniolos stands out as a departure from typical fast-casual chains. This spot brings a distinct Hawaiian twist to the classic burrito experience, prioritizing local sourcing and freshness that reflects the spirit of the West Oahu community.
The Art of the Custom Burrito
The core of the menu revolves around complete customization, but the real draw is the quality of the protein. Their carnitas and slow-cooked shredded beef are staples for a reason, often paired with house-made salsas that provide a necessary kick of heat. Unlike typical burrito joints, you will find ingredients like fresh avocado and locally inspired sides that bridge the gap between Mexican-inspired comfort food and the island palate.
A Casual Westside Staple
Stepping inside, the atmosphere is straightforward and utilitarian, designed for efficiency. You will hear the rhythmic clatter of the kitchen and the steady hum of hungry office workers and families grabbing lunch. It is an ideal stop if you are heading home after a long day at the nearby shopping complexes or refueling before a beach trip to Ko Olina.
A minor heads-up for those visiting during peak lunch hours: the space can get quite busy, and finding a spot in the shared parking lot requires a bit of patience. However, the speed of service makes it a reliable go-to for those who value efficiency without sacrificing the integrity of their meal. Whether you are craving a massive bowl or a tightly rolled burrito, the flavors remain consistent, offering a satisfying, hearty experience that fuels your day without the fuss of a formal sit-down restaurant.

I am VERY disappointed. I ordered the steak burrito. The meat was cold and so under cooked that I could not chew it. The red sauce had little flavor. The burrito was terrible. A complete waste of $17.

This a great Burrito, Bowl or Taco joint. Really cool Native Hawaiian History on the wall. Really fast and fresh service. Staff is really nice which is an indication of great ownership and it’s leadership. Read the story on the wall to right of the register of - “Full blooded Ikoa Purdy who in 1908 in Cheyenne Wyoming won the WorldRodeo Championship for steer roping. Probably a lot of Cheehoos and what bleeps that day. !!! Staff there are Ideal Team Players - Humble Hungry and Smart. Way to go Team Paniolo Burritos!

This is such a local gem! The food was great, for 12 dollars and this island not having any chipotle was a great way to get in some mexican food. The food was delicious and the line wasn’t long at all which it should be for the amazing flavor it has. If you come here and want to add a little kick the spicy salsa is amazing! I am a huge fan of spicy food and this was perfect!
