Nagoya Ramen (s)
About
Slurping Near Kapolei Commons
When the craving for a steaming bowl of tonkotsu hits while you are cruising through West Oahu, Nagoya Ramen offers a straightforward solution. Tucked away within the bustling commercial hubs of Kapolei, this spot brings the spirit of a Japanese noodle shop to the heart of the Leeward coast.
The Broth-First Experience
The kitchen centers its efforts on depth of flavor. Their signature tonkotsu broth—cloudy, rich, and boiled for hours—coats the alkaline noodles in a way that demands a noisy, appreciative slurp. The menu favors efficiency over excess, focusing on the basics: chashu pork that pulls apart with the slightest pressure from your chopsticks, perfectly seasoned soft-boiled eggs with jammy yolks, and crunchy bamboo shoots that provide a sharp textural contrast to the silky soup.
A Casual Westside Pitstop
This is not a place for white-tablecloth service; it is a utilitarian dining room designed for quick lunches and late-night comfort. You might notice the room fills up quickly during the lunch rush, and the acoustic profile leans toward the energetic side, making it a better fit for a solo meal or a catch-up session with a close friend rather than a quiet romantic dinner. Keep in mind that finding a parking stall in the immediate shopping complex can occasionally feel like a game of musical chairs during peak shopping hours. Despite the occasional hum of activity, the service remains focused on getting a hot bowl in front of you as fast as possible.

The coconut loaf of bread is so delicious, I cannot stop eating it! You must try this! I also had the chicken katsu and mochiko chicken. They were both good and I plan to order all this again!

If you want a quick bite with a reasonable price, this place is not bad for takeout. I always oicl fried rice and fried noodles here for work. The bread here is tasty. I like the place where you can the food being prepared and making it while you wait. The food still hot when you get home. This is located at the Mall on the West side of the Island. And plenty of parking around.

10/2022 Want to get a quick bite. Had the beef curry and wasn't disappointed. Hearty serving, simple quick service, and bakery items aren't bad either. I'd go back Sorry, forgot to take pics of food but when I'm out there again. Worth a try if you're in the area. 🤙✌️
