A Taste of West Oʻahu Spirit

Tucked away in the growing heart of Kapolei, Mānalo Lounge serves as a neighborhood sanctuary where the pace of the island slows down. This isn't your typical polished tourist bar; it is a space defined by a local, laid-back atmosphere that feels more like a living room for the community. The air carries a subtle hint of salt air and toasted pupus, and the low hum of conversation is frequently punctuated by the clinking of glasses and the occasional burst of laughter from regulars.

What to Expect

The interior strikes a balance between casual dive bar aesthetics and modern comfort. If you are looking for a place to catch a game or simply unwind after navigating the H-1 traffic, this is where you go. The drink menu prioritizes approachable, ice-cold drafts and classic cocktails that hit the spot without the pretense of high-end mixology. While the parking lot can get a bit congested during the evening rush, the payoff is a drink selection that keeps the local crowd coming back.

Why Locals Choose Mānalo

It is best suited for those who value authenticity over flash. Whether you are meeting friends for a weekend session or grabbing a quick nightcap, the lounge maintains a steady, welcoming energy. The service is efficient and straightforward, reflecting the honest character of the Kapolei region. You won't find white tablecloths here, but you will find a consistent, reliable environment to experience the true spirit of Oʻahu’s second city.

I do not normally leave reviews to start. The views and setting are spectacular but the food and service levels do not meet Four Seaons usual quality. We were seated next to an influencer who was doing personal ratings of the restaurant who had a tripod on his table, the clearly took away from the overall experience and why does the Four Seasons even allow this during a 7pm dinner sitting? At the end of the evening one of the servers reached over another table and shoulder of my wife (who’s birthday we we’re celebrating) to get the credit card it was super unprofessional. Simply a poor evening with underwhelming food and service wouldn’t recommend this as other restaurants in the area do a much better job creating value for their guests.

One of our favorite high end spots to check out on Oahu! The service is always impeccable and they are great with allergies / dietary preferences. The ambiance is truly unmatched, it’s a must every time I’m in Hawaii!!

My husband and I went here on a date night and loved all the food we ordered. Our waitress made great recommendations. The black cod, the wagyu skewer, the cucumbers, cauliflower...we ordered way too much but enjoyed the leftovers!

Me and wife went to the lounge for the experience since we were near the four seasons beach. The food was decent, not super amazing but decent. Tofu had very little flavor while the kfc cauliflower was good, we also tried their non-alcoholic guava drink which was good but the service took a while. Bit overpriced too but still a good spot.

The dinner was very delicious. We ordered sushi and seafood everything was great, we really liked it. We also had a hot stone steak, which we really enjoyed as well. We will definitely come back.

A very delicious dinner. The seafood was tasty, fresh, and the sashimi was very delicate. The meat was also incredibly tender. I also forgot to take a photo of the mochi ice cream dessert. Everything was delicious. Stunning views, a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly staff.

We stopped into the Mānalo Lounge for drinks and small plates and were genuinely impressed. The food here is not just “resort good” — it’s actually excellent. The salmon in particular was one of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Across the board, every dish we ordered was a 9.5/10. You can tell there’s real care in the preparation and presentation. The atmosphere is relaxed and open-air, with a view that makes you want to slow down and just enjoy where you are. Cocktails were balanced and not overly sweet, and the staff, while sometimes a bit stretched during busy times, was warm and attentive once they got to us. If you’re staying at the Four Seasons, make a point to come here at least once — ideally around sunset. The photos don’t even do it justice. Great food, great drinks, and a setting that feels like classic Hawai‘i.

They gave my girl peanuts even tho we warned them of her allergy ASAP. So it took long for her food. Went here right before I engaged. Food was amazing except the dragonfly hand roll. That was kind of gross and got stuck in my throat multiple times. Nasty consistency. Everything else was absolutely delicious. Portion sozes are as small as they can get away with so you’re left hungy and having to order more. For myself and my now fiancé I spent $250. We even waited 15 minutes for a Coke Zero. I enjoyed it overall but there was much that could’ve been better. Also since it’s a lounge the seats were odd and uncomfortable. I had to lean back FAR. I mean super far just to have my back against the seat rest.

There are a few restaurants on the property but this one was my favorite. Their lobster ramen was out of the world. If you were to ask your chef friend to make the best ramen ever for your birthday this would be it. Fried tofu was also very impressive. Thin-crunchy outside with a hint of spice + warm tofu inside was a good balance, perfect food to pair with a glass of beer. Finally the toasted rice ice cream gives you a combination of saltiness + sweetness + crunchiness with caramel.. strongly recommended!

Beach-side oasis after a long day of sitting by the pool. We love everything Manolo had to offer. Staff was great. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was casual and relaxing. We sampled a little of everything and it was all good. I recommend a visit! See the receipt for pricing info.
