L&L Hawaiian Barbecue - Kapolei (Kapolei Pkwy)

Food is always consistent and good! The portions are amazing! None of the other locations in Kapolei come close to the quality here! So thankful that to the folks at this location! Mahalo Nui!

Visited this L&L, had mop bucket out, extra supplies stacked in the restaurant (see picture) hardly any meat on the sandwich, compared to other recent visits to L&L on the island. The restaurant attendant wasn’t overly friendly and wouldn’t provide an extra water cup when requested—I get the extra cost but for a water cup?? Sandwich and bun were tasty but certainly didn’t live up to our normal experience at L&L.

My husband and I really enjoyed the food here and it is very reasonably priced! I had the aloha saimin while my husband had the bbq plate which was huge!!!! It was all so good and the people working were very helpful for it being our first time in Hawaii!

Like many other L&Ls the restaurant does look a little out of shape and run down but don’t let that fool you from coming. You will get fast service and very reasonably priced yummy food that’s packed full of flavor and handled by nice staff. It’s great to visit family in Hawaii once a year and go back to your favorites. And this place totally delivers in quality and flavor.

Food was good. But as the last reviewer stated, lady at counter was definitely not friendly. Dropped my food at the front counter and turned her back to me, as if I was inconveniencing her. And on top of that no dine in. I wouldn’t go back to this location.

Food here is absolutely amazing! I went twice in a row because it was soooo good. I got the bbq mix plate and all three meats were so flavorful and moist. Would highly recommend going here.

Quick and friendly service. I had the seafood combo platter and loco moco. Both were excellent. Lots of food and very fair price. Mahalo!

Made a phone order, went down immediately after we called it in. Then added to the order after I got there, the girl was just able to ring up the order all together. Service is good, food was good, saimin was not so good. I understand we took it to go, so maybe that's why the noodles were too soft, but the soup was like water... There wasn't much taste, which was kind of disappointing... Everything else was good. Forgot to take pictures of the food...

Great fast food style chain for some local Hawaiian cuisine. Lots of options to choose from, even for the picky percies in your group. Seafood, chicken, ramen (even a ramen burger!), saimin, and much, much more. This location is clean, staff are friendly, and the food quality is consistent. I was lucky enough to sample the ahi salad at another location recently, so that’s what I opted for on this late night visit. The ahi has a REALLY good flavor, and this is my “go-to” choice from now on. All entrees are served in to-go containers. If you have multiple items, they come out randomly, not all at once.
