A Gourmet Oasis in Ko Olina

Stepping into Island Country Markets within the Ko Olina resort area feels like discovering a high-end pantry dropped directly into a tropical vacation. While the morning sun glints off the nearby Pacific, the interior offers a cool, fragrant escape filled with the scent of freshly brewed Kona coffee and warm, buttery breakfast pastries. It is far more than a convenience store; it serves as a critical pitstop for those residing in the West O'ahu luxury villas who prefer a laid-back meal over a formal sit-down service.

Fresh Flavors of the West Side

The deli counter is the true heart of the operation. Locals and vacationers alike gravitate toward the signature poke bowls, which utilize remarkably fresh ahi tuna. If you are heading out for a day on the water, the grab-and-go section is stocked with gourmet sandwiches and wraps that actually taste like they were prepared minutes prior. You will also find an impressive selection of island-inspired snacks, craft beers, and fine wines that pair perfectly with a sunset on the beach.

The Practical Reality

Because this location anchors a popular resort hub in Kapolei, expect a buzz of activity during the peak morning and lunch hours. The aisles can feel tight when the mid-day crowd descends, so be prepared for a bit of a shuffle while navigating the aisles of artisanal goods. It is best suited for guests who want premium quality without the ceremony of a traditional restaurant. Whether you are grabbing a quick acai bowl before a catamaran tour or stocking your hotel fridge with local Hawaiian fruits and cheeses, the market delivers exactly what the savvy traveler needs for a seamless stay.

Wonderful food with reasonable prices. Great deal on prime rib plate 3x per week. Fresh selection of salads and sushi and poke area. Fantastic gelato and pastries at coffee bar. Only complaint is used to have free parking and now you have to pay :( Only about 6 tables seating outside but some shady benches for casual eating a few steps away as well. Cute shops in area and nice atmosphere of tropic fun. Feels like you are on vacation!

Totally for Tourists, but has some Hawaiian local gems that you can only buy here. This place is pretty good, but it depends on what you buy cause it can be pricey for some stuff...again for Tourists. You have to check it out if you haven't yet, you'd be surprised. I really like the Ube pancakes and my husband likes the Prime rib plate and we both enjoy the Macnut Pesto Pasta.

We stayed in Ko Olina for five days, and Island Country Markets quickly became one of our favorite and most convenient stops. It really has everything you might need while on vacation: snacks, drinks, liquor, souvenirs, beach items, groceries, and even a grill serving hot meals throughout the day. It was incredibly helpful to have a place nearby where we could grab both essentials and good food without having to leave the area. We ended up eating there three different times during our stay, which says a lot considering how many dining options Oahu has. Our first loco moco was outstanding and made for a great introduction to local Hawaiian comfort food. We also tried the ube pancakes, which were excellent and something a little different from the typical breakfast options. One of the best features is the free short-term parking for pickup orders. You can order ahead, drive over, and park free for 10–15 minutes while grabbing your food. Since the market is connected to the ABC Stores family, make sure to save your receipts because you can redeem them for free souvenirs.

Surprisingly good takeout food conveniently located across the street from Aulani. The portions are enormous! Be prepared to wait at least 10-15min while your food is being prepared, but they'll give you a buzzer so you can wander around the store.

Solid shopping destination if you're staying nearby. Some variety and they sell hot and cold food. Diapers are here. So are sodas, many kinds of sodas. You can buy them. It's a bit expensive, but if you're at the resort, it's close by. If you're not at the resorts, you might want to venture to the Safeway about 6 minutes away.

Great place to pick up groceries and items if you are staying in Ko Olina. Especially if you are at the four seasons or Aulani. This was the only place to get protein shakes after my morning workouts. Its hawaii pricing but still fair for what you get! Really like that they open up early in the morning for all the vacationers stuck in mainland timing!

The poke was fresh and good, average price including 2 toppings. They have decent small fruit selection - we got fresh dragonfruit. Great fruity drink collection too like sparkling lillikoi lychee. They had decent hot food too and non pork options like chicken katsu musubi. And of course lots of souvenirs.
