Doraku Sushi Kapolei

Everything was amazing! The sushi was so fresh, and they had such a large selection of food to choose from even if you’re not in the mood for sushi. I had the ribeye, and it was so soft, tender, and juicy. The hamachi carpaccio was absolutely to die for, and my daughter’s garlic hamachi roll was amazing too. But the star of the night was the miso butterfish entrée — chef’s kiss! Honestly, the BEST miso butterfish I’ve ever had. We also tried the chili wings and honey toast, and everything was incredible. I truly don’t understand how they only have 4 stars on Google because I would give them 100 stars if I could! The quality, portions, and pricing are beyond worth it. Our bill was $185, but they gave us a $20 discount for paying with an ASB debit card because Doraku has a partnership with ASB. That brought our total to $165 before gratuity, which completely shocked me for the amount and quality of food we ordered. Top-tier food, great portions, amazing pricing — I can’t say enough good things! We will definitely be back 🥰 It was a perfect birthday highlight for me 🫶. Definite cherry topper 🍒.

We really love this place! We come here often sometimes with friends, sometimes just the two of us and it never disappoints. There’s a huge variety of food at different price points, so everyone can find something they like. The appetizers are generous, and the selection of rolls, sashimi, and other dishes is impressive. Everything always tastes fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is very nice it’s comfortable both inside and outside seating, which we really enjoy depending on the mood and weather. It’s just a great spot to relax, enjoy good food, and spend time together. Desserts are also quite good, which is a nice bonus after a big meal. Overall, a wonderful place that we’re always happy to come back to!
