Yellow Cab Pizza Co.
About
Big City Slices in the Heart of Honolulu
When the craving for a thin, foldable slice hits the streets of Honolulu, Yellow Cab Pizza Co. brings a gritty, urban energy to the island. Stepping inside feels less like a traditional luau and more like a late-night stop in Manhattan, where the neon signs buzz and the smell of charred crust and melted mozzarella dominates the air. This is a place built for those who prefer their pizza with a side of edge rather than white-tablecloth service.
The Signature Fold
The menu leans heavily into the classic New York philosophy: bigger is better. Their signature New York’s Finest pizza is a heavy-duty affair, loaded with a savory blend of pepperoni, Italian sausage, bacon, ham, mushrooms, black olives, onions, and bell peppers. It is an ambitious pie that demands a two-handed approach. The crust offers a satisfying, audible crunch that balances out the richness of the generous toppings, making it a go-to for hungry groups scouting for a hearty dinner before hitting the local nightlife.
Practical Details for Your Visit
While the bold flavors are the main event, be prepared for a lively, high-energy environment that doesn't shy away from being a bit loud. Seating is functional and straightforward, perfect for a quick bite or a casual meetup. You might find the parking near this urban-style hub a bit challenging during peak evening hours, but the tradeoff for a piping-hot, crispy slice is usually worth the hunt for a spot nearby. It is a no-frills, flavor-forward destination that prioritizes the quality of the pie above all else.

For the last year or more they have been closed randomly or not opening on time for business hours. They are more closed than open. I went to knock on their window around 11:00 as they were supposed to be open at 10:30. No response. I saw the employee making pizza in there but he ignored me. I called the store and it went to voice mail. My husband went next to knock on their window and same thing. He just kept ignoring. If they are not done with their morning prep the least they can do is say so and acknowledge customers. They are super flakey with their hours and should update their schedule

A great place for a small party. They have a private room seats about 20. They set up a buffet line for us. Service a bit slow, bit food was great.

We must have come after a busy rush because they were out of their salads and boneless chicken wings. Otherwise a pleasant experience overall.
