Ya!!sushi

Make reservations as it’s a very small restaurant. Sushi was the best I’ve ever had. I read all the reviews before I came and I found it really hard to believe that so many people gave it five stars and said it was the best they ever had. I’m sorry, but I have to agree with everybody. It was the best sushi I ever had. It was so fresh. We got miso soup and three different rolls : shrimp tempura roll , aloha tuna with avocado roll and the sunset roll which had a lemon slice. I didn’t know if I would like the lemon or not, but I absolutely loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant . We will definitely eat here again. Came back and had dragon roll, sunset roll and aloha roll. All was very good. Came back for a third time within 2 weeks. Had miso soup, aloha roll , shrimp tempura roll, rainbow roll, tuna sashimi. One of the best omakase we’ve had and for that price, simply remarkable. Service was seamless and everyone was warm and welcoming. The quality of the fishes were top notch. We were so mesmerized by the flavors in our mouths we didn’t really think of taking pictures! It was our first time to try the Engawa— we ordered it 3 more times after— that buttery umami perfection. Yummmm!!!

We’ve now been to Ya!!Sushi a few times, and it’s quickly become one of our favorite spots in Honolulu. It’s a small, intimate space that really elevates the whole experience - especially if you can grab seats at the counter (which we always do). The omakase is consistently fantastic, with beautifully prepared sushi that highlights both quality and craftsmanship. You can really tell the chef takes pride in every piece. What keeps us coming back, though, is the combination of incredible food and genuinely warm, attentive service. The chef and staff make you feel welcome every time, and the cozy setting makes it feel like a special night out without being over the top. Bonus: it’s BYOB, which makes the experience even more fun and personal - bring a favorite bottle and enjoy an incredible meal to match. If you’re looking for a memorable sushi experience, this place absolutely delivers.
