Waikiki Food Hall Co.

This is a good place for meals. However, the food quality varies among those stores. The half chicken I ordered burned and should not be served.

On the 3rd floor of Royal Hawaiian Plaza. I had beef steak combo from Meataly Boys. The meal was portioned nicely to satisfy my hunger and at a reasonable price. Atmosphere is very comfortable since it is enclosed. Unlike the food court on the 2nd floor that's has heavy traffic. The Food hall has air conditioning and comfortable cushoon wicker chairs. The service team is friendly. Overall I highly recommend this place.

We stumbled upon Waikiki Food Hall Co when we were walking through the Royal Hawaiian Center one afternoon. When we took a look around, we knew we needed to return for some great food and wonderfully reasonable prices. The day we went for lunch, we had just returned from a 5 mile walk, a bit tired and ready for a light lunch. Each day they have a variety of specials, so we ordered $5.00 Cheeseburgers. A very clean food hall with several different eating and seating options at the top of Royal Hawaiian Center. There's a bar at the center and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! I'm knocking a star just because of the hours of several of the spots... We came for an early lunch and only some of the spots were open (or at least had no one at the stand, which always makes me nervous to order because I'm not sure how long it will take to get the food). There also aren't a lot of vegan/vegetarian options. We didn't end up eating here as a result of those two factors.

A true hidden gem in Waikiki! This place saved us when the food at our hotel was too expensive to eat more than once - reasonable prices, good options, what’s not to like! We tried multiple items over multiple visits and enjoyed most everything. On one visit there was local music with some friends of the band hula dancing! Seem this place out if the prices in Waikiki have you reeling.

Nice food court tucked away on the 3rd floor of the royal hawaiian center. It was about on par with other comparably casual places in the area as far as price, although the $6 smash burger was the cheapest thing around unless you are dining out of a convenience store. it was crispy around the edges and the jalapeno sauce on the jalapeno smash burger was delicious. I would recommend ordering two for those who have a big appetite, this one was sized a little on the petite side. My 13yo son got a variety pack of onigiri and said it was the best thing he'd had since we got to Hawaii. There was lively music playing and the employees were all friendly.

Would give 5 stars if the ordering system wasn’t so inefficient, but MAN did the food make it worth it! When you walk in it looks like a food court, but it is different because the front bar handles all of the ordering for each separate establishment. Each separate place cooks your food and pages you to pick it up at their location. Sounds harmless but it’s sooooooo inefficient. The one woman up front is taking orders, answering all your questions, pouring your drinks (even pitchers of beer), running tickets to the restaurants, and so on. EACH restaurant has their own credit card terminal (located at the front bar) so if you order off of more than one menu, you’re paying on multiple terminals at once. We ordered 1 plate lunch from Meataly Boys (the Meat Monster, highly recommend it), 1 onigiri from PO (Kotsuo Konbu, soooo ono!), 1 Diet Coke and 1 bottle of water. The water and Diet Coke are from different establishments (apparently!) and so we had to use 4 different credit card terminals and sign 4 different receipts! The line of people was growing and growing, and I felt so discouraged, like, “this food better be worth all this aggravation”. Welp! It WAS WORTH IT… Businesses listen up: here is a proposed SOLUTION to those inefficiencies: invest in self-ordering kiosks for each food restaurant so that customers can review the menu and order/pay on the kiosks. Then they can order drinks at the bar and the lines won’t get so long.

Quiet, smaller sized food hall located on the third floor of Royal Hawaiian Center. They have different specials posted at the ordering station at the Middle Bar where you place your order for each food establishment. Your food is all made after you order so don't worry about food sitting around in a warmer. Potama - tried the Mentai Mayo, Goya Tempura, and the Original. The spam was cooked perfectly in each and the Mentai Mayo flavour was great. I was really excited for the Goya Tempura and it was excellent, loved the bitterness that comes through. Honolulu Burger Co. - tried the Tuesday Cheeseburger special with a Taro bun upgrade. The bun was tasty and fresh and the burger was juicy and had bib lettuce instead of iceberg. Meataly Boys - tried the Pork Chop Curry special and it didn't disappoint! The thick pork chop was juicy and tender and the curry had good depth of flavour, not too spicy definitely more of a Japanese style curry. Five Star Shrimp - tried their Garlic Shrimp special. Comes with salad, two scoop rice, and a piece of pineapple. The shrimp were well seasoned, not overcooked, and had great garlic flavour.

Came here on our first night in honolulu. This place is more the style of my family than the big resturants down on the street. We knew it was here but actually getting to it after a few drinks was tricky for us. Lots of nice options to choose from and a variety of flavors. We got the shrimp, masubi roll, fries and beers. Prices were decent and food was all tasty. The ordering system was kinda weird paying several times for each different booth but i understand why they do it this way which was kinda cool. Vibe here is chill and layed back. Family friendly atmosphere. Great place for those who dont want the big sit diwn resturant. They need to set up a self serve water station so you dont have to bother the guy at the ordering area.

This place is such a vibe! The food is great, the seating area is comfy, and the service is friendly everywhere. We got food based on review recommendations and they were all on point, the beef/chicken combo in particular. On Saturday nights (6-8pm) there's live music that's definitely worth catching. As others have mentioned, the payment system is ridiculous. Don't be discouraged, just bring a fiver to tip the cashier, who suffers much more than we do.
