Uncle Sharkii Poke Bar

It’s like the chipotle for poke but better. Easy options to make and centrally located. Not very busy during my lunch visit. I had the salmon and tuna combo. Large portions and good value.

The place has no customers, we walked in and the 2 workers stood up from the tables, didn’t talk, kept looking at their phones, we asked them a question but their phones were much more important. We walked out, I don’t think they noticed we left or cared because they just kept looking at their phones. I would have loved to try the food, but we were completely ignored.

One of the best poke I had during my trip to Honolulu. The ingredients were so so good, fresh, good quality. The girls in there were really really sweet and I was a pleasure to have lunch in this poke bar. A really nice place to take a break during the day! Cannot recommend it enough for the food and the service. The place is just a little bit tiny so it can be hard to find a place during rush hour.

The mango ice cream was scrumptious and the workers there was so incredibly nice! Highly recommend this place and its cheap! 6 dollars for ice cream is so good. Hawaiian prices wise. Well lit to for folks who can't see well. Also very clean. 10/10

I visited this place with my 11-year-old daughter, and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. The space is extremely cramped, and the smell inside was awful — either like smoke or raw fish, but it made being there really unpleasant. We placed and paid for our order, then waited for over 20 minutes, even though there was only one customer ahead of us. Meanwhile, several people who ordered after us — some just drinks — were served before us. The staff seemed to forget about our order entirely. I’m currently in the late stages of pregnancy, and the long wait was physically difficult for me. In most places, pregnant women are given a bit of priority or at least consideration, but that was not the case here. The whole experience ruined our mood, and we seriously considered canceling our order. I wouldn’t recommend this place — poor service, uncomfortable environment, and definitely not somewhere we’d return.

My husband is in Hawaii for a work trip. He went to this restaurant for dinner yesterday and loved it. He said the environment was small and enjoyable, and that the vibe was fun. He ordered a mango tea and a spicy tuna poke bowl. He said they were both great! If you are looking for a fun environment, and good food, definitely check this place out!

We asked for a recommendation from the guy behind the counter. Without hesitation, he suggested the Sharkii bowl and I was not disappointed. Match this with a Thai Boba and I was set for the night. Wife had the spicy tuna and was equally pleased. I would be willing to bet that the worst thing on the menu is to not order when walking past. Great staff, great food, perfect meal to end our night at waikiki. 10/10

Really good food for a great price! All bowls were under $15, and the soft serve was about $6. The ingredients were fresh and delicious! I got the seasoned tofu bowl, and they immediately asked if I was vegetarian and then told me they would take off the two non-veg toppings that come on it. I asked for a side of a second sauce and the employee said she used all three on hers, so I took the suggestion and it was delicious! Great quality, service, and price. Would definitely recommend!!!

Honestly don't get all of those bad reviews. The bowls were made with fresh ingredients, the service was kind, I didn't have to wait for that long for the food which tasted actually very good - the frequently brought up critique that there was too much salt in the bowls didn't happen to me, the seafood was well seasoned. The prices were fair and although the place was a bit dirty and needed some cleaning, I thought one could sit there pretty nicely. Lots of loud music from the karaoke bar above though. There's wifi from the mall which is also pretty great.

This was such a strange experience. Poke shops are one of my go-to quick meals and I should've known something was off when the topping bar, usually visible to customers in most shops, was hidden behind stainless steel shields. Walked in around 3pm with no other customers in the shop and stood there waiting to be acknowledged by the staff behind the counter for about 2 minutes- awkward. Unlike other poke shops, there is no "build your own bowl" option. My spidey sense was suss; the place just did not seem clean. Decided not to order raw fish and opted for the Little Sharkii which is just toppings/no protein and the base for $10. This is where I got punked and now understand why they don't let you see the toppings or watch them constructing your bowl. The "toppings" consisted of a measly 2 teaspoons of canned corn, 5 paper thin cucumber slices, 2 tablespoons of seaweed salad, soggy "fried onions" and green onions. SO I BASICALLY SPENT $10 ON RICE. No Masago Eggs, Imitation Crab, Onions, Furikake flakes with Roasted Sesame Seeds were present on this bowl. Pro tip: walk down the street to Five Star Poke food truck and get a fresh poke bowl LOADED with all the ono toppings.
