About
Island Cocktails at the Edge of Waikiki
When you step into Two Tides Bar, the humidity of the Pacific melts away under the hum of high-velocity ceiling fans and the clinking of glassware. Situated just steps from the sun-drenched sands of Waikiki, this spot captures the quintessential Honolulu evening—laid-back, salt-aired, and unpretentious. The interior leans into a modern nautical aesthetic with reclaimed driftwood accents that smell faintly of sea spray and fresh lime.
Sip Through the Sunset
The drink program focuses heavily on local spirits and house-made syrups, with the Pineapple-Ginger Infusion serving as the definitive signature pour. Expect a bright, sharp kick followed by the sweetness of local Maui Gold pineapples. While the seating inside is limited and tends to fill up quickly as the sun hits the horizon, the outdoor patio offers the best front-row seats for watching the evening street performers along the strip.
The Local Rhythm
It is worth noting that the acoustics here can get rather lively. When the surf report is good and the crowd is full of local beachgoers, conversations might require a slight raise in volume, but that is part of the charm. If you are looking for a place to trade your flip-flops for a stiff drink without the stiff-shirt formality of high-end hotel bars, this is your harbor. It is an ideal refuge for solo travelers looking to strike up a conversation with the bartender or groups who want to kick off a night in the city with high-quality craft cocktails.

The prices are amazing in here for the food and amount you get. You can also bring your food from whole foods inside here and eat it and grab a beer. We've been back like 5 times. We love Jennie, Levi and Joe. They have made every experience here phenomenal. My salad was 11 dollars and huge, beer was 10 and the chicken stripe were 14. Fish tacos were $14 and burger was $15. Insane prices great food and a ton of alchol and non alcoholic options.

A nice bar, been there for happy hour they had some nice deals. The bar tenders were really nice everything came fast I didn’t have to wait a long time for my drinks or food. They have a very large selection of beer from the tap and some local beers as well. My only complaint was the bar stools they were too short and it made it hard to sit comfortably on the bar.

Two Tides is the bar conveniently located above Whole Foods! They have an excellent wine/beer list, amazing location and okay food. I arrived just in time for Taco Tuesday. Cool...$3.00 tacos with a tofu option was too good to pass up. I got a cute ramekin of popcorn while I was waiting for my food. The tacos were only okay. I got the spiciest sauce and was disappointed they weren't spicy at all. They let people bring up food from Whole Foods. That store has amazing pre-made stuff. Do that and come to Two Tides for the wine, beer, and great atmosphere.
