About
Mid-Century Magic Above the Pacific
Perched high above the bustling streets of Waikiki, the Tower Bar offers a rare portal into Honolulu’s golden era of hospitality. This space isn’t interested in the modern minimalist trend; instead, it leans heavily into polished brass, dark mahogany, and the kind of low-slung lounge furniture that encourages you to settle in for a long, slow evening. When the sun dips below the horizon, the city lights turn the panoramic glass into a backdrop that feels pulled directly from a classic noir film.
The Art of the Craft Cocktail
The bartenders here treat the classics with a level of precision that is increasingly hard to find in a tourist-heavy hub. You won’t find overly sweet, neon-colored syrups here. Instead, expect balanced Mai Tais that prioritize quality rum and house-made orgeat over excessive garnish. If the room feels a bit hushed, that’s by design; it is a sophisticated sanctuary for those looking to escape the noisy beach crowds just a few blocks away.
Know Before You Go
Accessing the lounge can feel like an exclusive endeavor, which adds to the allure. While the atmosphere is polished, keep in mind that the elevator wait can be a bit sluggish on busy weekend nights—a minor trade-off for the privacy and elevation you’re about to enjoy. The acoustics in the room can get quite lively when the house is full, so it’s the perfect spot for a sharp conversation rather than a quiet retreat. Whether you are a local seeking a quiet nightcap or a traveler wanting to soak in the Waikiki skyline without the sand, this is where the Honolulu nightlife finds its rhythm.

If you're looking for a venue that delivers amazing food, impeccable service, and a stress-free experience, Tower Bar is the place. Thank you for making our celebration unforgettable! 🌟

The old Gordan Biersch location was literally empty for dinner time on a Saturday. The food was priced high and sub par at best. I decided on a mocktail as none of the cocktails looked interesting. The service was decent but due to short staffing it took a min to get things. I ordered a cheeseburger no mayo and fries but it looked like they put mayo and did a junk job of trying to scrap it off. They validate parking as well.

Great service our server was a lady and she was so polite. I got "the beach" non alcoholic drink bc she recommended for me it was delicious. Food was good! Prices were fine, I only wish they did military discount but overall I enjoyed this spot so much with my daughter (7) and it was a great view of the boats/ships/sunset/ocean. The music was perfect and so were the lights and seating options. I recommend this spot as it was not packed, family friendly and affordable. They also validated my parking ticket.
