Subway - Honolulu (11th Ave)
About
A Fast Stop in the Heart of Honolulu
If you find yourself navigating the bustling streets near King Street, this Subway offers a predictable, no-frills refuge for those needing a quick caloric recharge. Unlike the artisanal cafes dotting the urban landscape of Honolulu, this spot leans into efficiency. You walk in, choose your bread—the smell of baking dough is an immediate greeting—and watch as the assembly line prepares your sandwich to your exact specifications.
The Setup
The layout is standard for the brand, prioritizing speed over sprawling lounge areas. It is an ideal pit stop for office workers in the area or anyone looking for a reliable, portable meal before heading toward the beach or local offices. Be prepared to navigate the parking situation, which can be a bit tight during peak lunch hours as the local traffic rhythm picks up.
Why Stop Here?
Whether you are grabbing a classic BMT or a toasted chicken teriyaki sub, the consistency is the main draw. It functions best for those who prefer to know exactly what they are getting without the guesswork of a sit-down menu. The hum of the refrigeration units and the quick clip-clop of the staff moving behind the counter creates a distinct, utilitarian atmosphere. It is straightforward, functional, and gets the job done when hunger strikes during your island commute.

Hubby bought me a footlong and unfortunately this Micronesian lady that was making it didn’t even ask if he want to add salt pepper and vinegar, he was ordering couple so my husband didn’t notice that it was already wrapped up, when he asked if there’s vinegar, the person said no, and she said it’s too late and she’s making face that’s why my kind husband didn’t insist. I’m so disappointed with what I had on my lunch cause it wouldn’t be as taste as good if there’s no vinegar in it and it’s too dry. They should always ask!!! First time I ate a subway without salt pepper and vinegar!

I usually enjoy Subway, but this time I was disappointed to find a hair in my sandwich. The staff were polite, but I hope the store can pay more attention to food safety and hygiene. I would appreciate if management could look into this.

I popped in for a quick lunch, ordered a Chicken sandwich, no line just before lunch time. bought a 6" Chicken Sandwich the Tuesday special. Choose the bread, cheese, toasted or not and all the toppings. You can be out of there with free parking as long as you are in and out of the parking lot in 15 minutes.

Like the Ka'imuki community location because the parking is plentiful and thanks to the C&C and Apco employee's management our legislators have helped maintain the grace period for parking at 30 minutes. Subway Employees Know their product , genuinely cheerful, clean atmosphere. No toilet.
