About
An Industrial Escape in Kaka'ako
Tucked away in the vibrant Kaka'ako district, Sip Honolulu has carved out a niche for those who prefer their drinks with a side of edge. Forget the polished, high-gloss hotel bars; this spot embraces the gritty, artistic soul of Honolulu’s up-and-coming neighborhood. The warehouse-chic aesthetic, defined by exposed piping and local murals, creates an unpretentious backdrop that shifts seamlessly from a low-key happy hour spot to an upbeat evening lounge.
Crafting the Liquid Aloha
The menu leans heavily into the cocktail-forward experience, highlighting fresh, locally sourced ingredients that define contemporary island mixology. You will find that the bartenders treat their shakers like musical instruments, turning out balanced pours that favor house-made infusions over syrupy mixers. If you catch a whiff of torched citrus or fresh herbs, that is the tell-tale sign of a signature concoction hitting the bar top.
The Rhythm of the Night
This is a place for people who want to skip the tourist traps and rub elbows with residents of O'ahu. Because it sits in the heart of an urban redevelopment zone, the crowd is a mix of creative professionals and weekend explorers. Keep in mind that as the night heats up, the decibel level rises; if you are looking for a quiet, whispered conversation, aim for an early arrival before the bass drops and the industrial space fills with conversation. Pro tip: while the street parking in this part of Honolulu can be a game of Tetris, the walk through the surrounding street art district is well worth the hunt for a spot.

I am so sorry for the two stars. I have been consistently disappointed with the drinks' quality. They have never made their latte/coffee right. They all end up watery in some ways. I'm wondering if it’s because of their espresso and steaming machine is too old or their staff is just not that well trained. Here’s a photo of a large hot latte I ordered 3 minutes ago. All fluid, no foam, no taste, overpriced ($10). I'm not sure if they understand the standards of a coffee shop and coffee drinks.

Small but cute, clean and cozy coffee shop in Restaurant Row. They serve vegan food and organic locally roasted coffee. Staff are friendly and nice. We had the Espresso Ube latte, ube with cheese scones and the nutella strawberries bagel. I love the coffee, scones is in the little bit sweet side. Bagel was warm and delicious. They validate parking.
