Shorefyre International Marketplace
About
Sunset Cocktails in the Heart of Waikiki
Positioned right in the middle of the bustling International Marketplace, Shorefyre serves as a high-energy transition point from shopping to nightlife. If you find yourself needing a break after navigating the shops of Waikiki, this open-air spot offers a relaxed vantage point to watch the tourists and locals stream by below.
The Flavor of Local Comfort
The menu leans heavily into Hawaii-style comfort food. You will find their take on a classic Loco Moco, which pairs well with their tropical cocktail list. The Pineapple Mai Tai is the perennial favorite here, served with a garnish that screams vacation. While the service can sometimes be as fast-paced as the surrounding streets, it maintains a casual, surf-inspired aesthetic that makes it easy to kick back for an hour or two.
What to Expect
The space is built to capture the breeze, though the trade-off for such a central location is the ambient hum of city traffic and nearby music from the marketplace stage. It is an ideal setting for groups who want a low-pressure environment where you can wear flip-flops without judgment. If you visit during peak evening hours, prepare for a bit of a wait, but once seated, the combination of cold drinks and pupus makes it a quintessential stop for those exploring the Honolulu urban core.

The food, music, and atmosphere were amazing. 10/10 recommend when in Honolulu. I'd call it a MUST TRY restaurant. The food was the best we had on O'ahu.

My friends, daughter, and I visited ShoreFyre on Sunday for the first time, and we had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were looking for a place to relax, have some pupus and a few cocktails. Our waitress (i forgot her name🥲) was incredibly kind, attentive, and prompt throughout our visit. The service was excellent, and the entire staff made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The manager, Chad, even stopped by our table a few times to check on us and make sure everything was going well, which was such a thoughtful touch and really added to the overall experience. The food was exceptional, and the drinks were just as good! We shared the sampler and chose the chicken, popcorn shrimp, popcorn ahi, and Brussels sprouts with Portuguese sausage. And an order of their steak. Every item was delicious, and the combination of flavors was perfect. We paired it all with Bellini mimosas, which were refreshing and complemented our meal perfectly. One thing that really stood out was the vegetarian-friendly menu. My daughter is vegetarian, and we appreciated that the options were clearly labeled. The staff recommended the taro veggie burger. As a local girl who isn't usually a fan of taro or poi, she was hesitant at first—but she absolutely loved it! In fact, she enjoyed it so much that she's already asking when we can go back. We were seated on the cozy couches overlooking Kalākaua Avenue, where it was cool, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and people-watching. Thank you to Chad and the entire ShoreFyre team for making our first visit such a memorable one. You turned first-time guests into future regulars, and we'll happily make the trip back to Waikīkī just to visit again! Highly recommended. 🌺🍹🍔✨

Food LOOKS good but isnt. Aesthetically pleasing, but the food we ordered was not good. Ordered an acai bowl and a papaya bowl and the fruit in them tasted like they went bad… they did offer to remake or add other fruits but I declined, and they took $3 off a $50+ bill. Drinks were alright. Service is fast and friendly. Also is promoted with rooftop and ocean view… not much of a view.

I had the snapper with a macadamia crust and my wife had pork back ribs with a spicy mango bbq sauce. They sauce had a little head but not much. It was really good. I also enjoyed my wish.

We made reservation. Did not realize there are 2. The one we wanted was above the Tesla store in International Market, ended up in way more casual one past the Hyatt towards Diamond head find was great, service was delightful. I had the red snapper. Delicious. Husband had poke tacos. Liked the poke, did not like the taco shells. Glad we went to wrong one

On our way back from the Easter 🐣🐇 Sunrise 🌞 Service, a gentleman was on the sidewalk advertising this place as well as provided us with a 10% off coupon. Since I've never been and it was on the way home we decided to try it. We had Abigail as our server. My friend had pancakes 🥞 with blueberries 🫐; and I had Seared Ahi Eggs Benedict with spinach and mushrooms, as well as the Lychee Martini. (I started to eat and almost forgot to take a picture 🖼️... 🤣) Although pricey, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious 😋🤤. Nice treat for the holiday. I was surprised that there was not a lot of people there for a holiday morning, but there may have been seating somewhere that was not visible to me. It is a little out of the way place in the International Market up on the 3rd floor, close to Kalakaua Street. The music 🎶 🎵 was a little loud 🔊, but I would definitely recommend this place and am looking forward to trying out the Happy Hour specials on the next holiday... Maybe sometime during Memorial Weekend 🤗🏵️

We weren't sure what to expect coming here for breakfast, but we were pleasantly surprised. I got the kalua pork hash. The portion was generous, plenty of pork, the potatoes were crispy and well seasoned, the eggs cooked just right (over easy). I added avocado and it was a great addition. My husband got the ultimate scramble. He loved it, I tried a bite and it was very flavorful. His toast was a beautiful golden brown. Overall we were very happy with our meal. Would definitely recommend.

First time eating here. Had fish tacos with my wife and our daughter had a burger and fries. All good food but I would recommend the fish tacos at La Pina Cantina which are much tastier. We were seated outdoors and my only gripe are the dirty and stained table seat cushions. Not very inviting to sit on. The place is a bit outdated on the inside. Service was outstanding.
