A Slice of the Big Apple in Honolulu
Located right in the heart of the Ala Moana Center, this Sbarro location brings the fast-paced energy of a New York City pizzeria to the Pacific. If you are wandering through Hawaii’s largest shopping mall and need a quick, reliable bite, this is your go-to spot for an XL New York-style slice. The smell of baking dough and bubbling mozzarella hits you the moment you step toward the counter.
What to Expect
The menu focuses on those classic, oversized slices that have defined the brand for decades. Whether you are craving a traditional pepperoni slice with that signature grease-drip or a portion of their baked ziti, the food is consistent and hits the spot during a long day of shopping. You will hear the familiar hum of the mall’s foot traffic as you wait in line, and while seating can get tight during the busy lunch hour, the turnover is impressively fast.
Pro Tips for Your Visit
This is the perfect pit stop for families or shoppers who don’t want to deal with a full-service sit-down meal. It is straightforward, no-frills, and efficient. One thing to keep in mind: because this is located inside such a massive retail hub, the area near the food court can get quite loud, and finding a vacant table requires a bit of tactical patience. It is an ideal spot for a carb-heavy fuel-up before catching a bus or heading back out to continue your shopping spree in Honolulu.

$21 for 2 slices of cold pizza & a bottle of water. When I asked them to heat my pizza up again they turned the ovens off like 15 minutes before closing.

I already bought my dinner and was walking around to see what I missed. I remember eating at Sbarro and really liking their spaghetti. Walking by, I got a big smile from the gentleman behind the counter who greeted me with a big smile and hello. He offered me a cup of water. That greeting just floored me. I’ve worked in world class hotels and trained in exceptional service and his simple positive greeting surpassed anything I’ve seen recently. I asked him his name, Brandon, and will definitely go back and order from him this week. In that hustle and bustle, he gave me an authentic smile, great eye contact and no pressure to buy something which I did not. But after I left, I felt his genuine warmth and will make it a point to return. He should be VP of this company or any company that values customer service. He has that formula down. I believe he has great things in store for him in the near future and anyone looking for someone to lead their company to sucess? You better grab him now. Sbarro? Give him a raise and a promotion but keep him in front of customers, because what he has you can’t teach. Hey Brandon! See you soon!

They have a special on there website but say they don’t offer it. Bait and switch Ripoff. They have better places to eat that are less expensive in the mall.

Today I order a pepperoni slice and an icee for my son. Came out to 17 and some change. Paid for it and ask for a receipt. Woman Cashier didn’t know how to print it. Thought red flags right away. Another male came out from back and printed receipt. I looked there was an upcharged for combo that include a bread stick. I ask lady where my bread stick which say directly on the menu combo include a bread stick. She says you don’t get one because I saved you money because an Icee is an additional charge. I’m like ok didn’t make sense so I made a stink out of it. So I called the male who printed receipt who insisted He was saving me money by making it a combo. Show me how much my slice and ice cost on it’s on. After him insisting it’s more money I’m like show me on the tablet. Which he punching it in on the tablet still insisting it’s cheaper. turns out the was difference of 2 dollars. After a commotion he gives me my two dollar rudely and walks into the back with out an apology. As if I did him wrong. I get the ideal of ripping off tourist with 17 dollars slice of pizza but insisting it’s cheaper when the math don’t make sense is appalling. Do better with the scamming guys.

At one time, my go to for the pizza slices and calzones. My last visit revealed otherwise. The sausage pepperoni mushroom pizza was stale and not flavorful. I should have known when I was served a piece consolidated with other different pizzas on a single pan. It was a disappointment, not the Sbarro I loved in the past. I'm sorry to that I will never go there again.

Have eaten at this location numerous times pre-pandemic and it was exceptional always. Roll it up December 24th of 2024 ordered one slice of the loaded pizza and one spinach stromboli $26.65!! The lady at the register was wonderful and empathized with the price the food was still good like everything else right now the price was ridiculous. I could have bought a whole pizza at Pizza Hut still love you, don't think I'll be back soon even the city was priced out of sight. For now, thank you for the memories, thank you for the great food.

I was just there at AlaMoana food Court and bought a sliced of Pepperoni Pizza and a medium sized iced coke but it looks like a small size. Anyway, I wasn’t happy of my purchased, because just a sliced of pizza and a look like a small size drink cost me more than $17 . I will not buy there anymore. I was wondering why there’s not that much people buying there. Prize is ridiculous..

Ordered a pizza and the lady grabbed the cold pizza, put it in the oven for five seconds then handed it to me. Way to treat a customer. No wonder this place has a low rating. You need to hire better employees.

I'm never going to this Sbarro again! The 2 pizza slices I ordered was lukewarm from the oven. The cashier (Filipino guy) was rude as hell. If I going to pay over $22.00 for 2 slices of pizza, at least have good service!
