Sabrozon Mexican Food Truck
About
A Slice of Mexico on Oahu
Finding legitimate street-style Mexican cuisine in the middle of the Pacific can be a challenge, but Sabrozon Mexican Food Truck delivers an authentic experience that feels worlds away from the typical tourist fare. Parked conveniently for those traversing the busy Honolulu streets, this spot prioritizes speed and bold flavors without any unnecessary frills.
What’s on the Menu
The menu focuses on the essentials done right. You will find generous portions of carne asada that carry a deep, smoky char, paired with house-made salsas that provide a sharp, vinegary kick. The al pastor is a standout, featuring that signature balance of marinated pork and pineapple sweetness that defines the style. If you are grabbing lunch, be prepared for a quick turnover—the aromatic scent of searing meat usually draws a consistent line of locals during the midday rush.
Why Visit?
This is the ideal destination for anyone craving an uncomplicated, flavor-forward meal that does not require a reservation or a dress code. Because it is a food truck operation, keep in mind that seating is limited and parking can be a bit of a shuffle depending on the time of day, but the efficiency of the kitchen makes it a go-to for a fast, satisfying bite between errands. Whether you are craving a late-afternoon taco fix or a hearty burrito before heading to the beach, Sabrozon brings a necessary punch of spice to the local food scene.

The food was good, fresh and authentic tasting. The service was friendly but…:of 3 burritos they mis made 2 - twice. They were friendly about it - a lot of confusion though. In the end they tried to make it all right and the service and attitude was great and appreciated. Enjoy!

Staff are super friendly, food came out pretty quickly, very fresh/ portions were nice and big. Got the birria tacos and the flavor was amazing and comes with beans and rice on the side which is super nice! Definitely recommend coming here they also have some seating right next to the food truck.

I've been trying trucks around the island for the past few years and this one is my go to. I've tried so many things on the menu and nothing has been disappointing. The plantains are my favorite. The horchata and Jamaica are always delicious and fresh. Tacos, burritos, bowls, everything was delicious. My only issue is I don't speak their language well enough to be able to chitchat, I'm working on that. They've always been pleasant and kind. The truck has tables and chairs right behind it so you can have a sit and a snack after walking around. Delivery is great but fresh and hot can't be beat.

Great stop for Mex food: Homemade mole enchiladas, lamb burrito as a meat option. Usually have treats like fried plantains, and guest chefs for cake, flan, etc. Takeout friendy, but has a nice casual setting area on the side.

This is my second time coming here, and each time I feel so taken care of by the people here. They are always kind, friendly, and accomodating and they check on you to make sure you have everything you need. The food here is SO GOOD! Today, I had these delicious enchiladas that came out hot and fresh with melty cheese alongside rice and beans. I was so satisfied with the flavors, portion, and presentation of this meal. The plantains were juicy and flavorful with a yummy sweet crema. Last time, I had the simple bean and cheese burrito and couldn't even finish it because it was so huge. That was a delicious deal. There's a few shaded tables in the back and one sunny table to the side. Overall, give this place a try if you want to eat some delicious Mexican food made by kind people.

I asked them for the most popular items to order for dinner. And since it was my first time at this food truck it was worth a try. They recommended lamb quesabirria tacos plate. I tried it, and wow wasn't expecting it to be so good. The lamb was not gamey, shredded and not chopped in chucks, plus the cheese and cilantro...was worth it. The consome elevated the dish even more. It didn't need any additional sauce. Two tacos was pretty filling along with the rice and black beans, however I still got the one Tuesday taco special since it was $3.50...haha would go back, just for that item. My brother got the burrito, but he wasn't impress. Staff was friendly and helpful. The area the food truck is located in, is near a busy intersection and had several outdoor tables and chairs to sit at. But we took it to go, since it was easier for us. Also, lots of adjacent street and ongrade parking. Recommend to try this place at least once.

Amazing quality and super friendly service. We got the quesabirria lamb plate which was some of the best I've had on island. However, the true star was the esquite. We actually ordered this by mistake, but it was the best mistake of our lives. That cup of corn, cheese, sauce and tajin could change the world. The service was very friendly, they were giving free samples of what seemed like Italian style cannolis.
