Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers (1450 Ala Moana Blvd Suite 1160Q)
About
Crispy Tenders in the Heart of Ala Moana
When you are navigating the sprawling corridors of Honolulu’s premier shopping destination and the craving for golden, breaded poultry hits, Raising Cane’s delivers a straightforward solution. Located right within the Ala Moana Center, this spot has become a reliable pitstop for both local residents and visitors who appreciate a menu that focuses on doing one thing exceptionally well.
The Secret Sauce and Simple Cravings
The kitchen operates with a laser-focused philosophy: chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and coleslaw. The signature Cane’s Sauce is the star here—a zesty, tangy dip that practically demands to be slathered over every bite of their buttermilk-marinated, hand-battered tenders. You will hear the distinct sizzle of the fryers and the upbeat chatter of the crowd as you wait for your tray. The bread, buttered and toasted to a golden hue, offers that essential crunch that balances out the tender, juicy interior of the chicken.
A Quick Bite Between Shopping
This location captures the high-energy pulse of the mall. It is a fantastic choice if you want to fuel up before a hike or after catching a movie. Be prepared for a lively atmosphere; since it is situated in a high-traffic zone, the lines can move quickly, but the seating area fills up fast during the lunch rush. If you find the dining room bustling, grabbing your order to go and heading toward the nearby beach park for an impromptu picnic is a local favorite move. The combination of efficient service and consistent quality makes it a staple for anyone wandering through the commercial hub of O‘ahu.

The chicken was very tender and the sauce was perfection!!!! The box combo is the best and the price is reasonable!

Decent feed, burger, chips and drinks were okay (maybe a bit too much ice, first time having Raising Canes so wasn't quite sure of the procedure) but all in all, I was very satisfied. The young man that served me at the Ala Moana Food Court was polite and courteous.

Had the 3 fingers special....was pretty good to eat. Affordable, delicious and had great service. They also support local teams for sports too. Fast, efficient and a welcoming atmosphere to be in. Try em out...you'll like their chicken fingers. Texas toast is good too!

I’m from Australia and had heard so much about Raising Cane’s on social media, so when I landed in Hawaii, I had to give it a try. The chicken was pretty good and crispy, but honestly, I don’t think it lives up to all the hype around it.

Amazing! I’ve heard many things about raising canes and we couldn’t wait to try it. It did not disappoint and we were very happy with the service, the food and also the atmosphere. Keep up the great work team and you’ve gained a customer for life. It would be great if you can expand into Australia. Happy to do business :)

Today I got to try a 3 finger combo and it was okay. I had a cane on one hand and a stabilizer on the other so I asked for a bag and they told me it is $0.21, so I just declined. It wasn't the cost. Whenever a business tries to charge the extras like that it just gives me the negative impression of a business trying to nickel and dime their customers. As for the chicken it was very bland, no seasoning. Same for the french fries. It did come with a sauce and I did try, but the sauce was more suited as a salad dressing, it tasted more like a ranch dressing.

The food was fine, I just didn’t like it that much. The chicken and chips were under seasoned. The atmosphere was great though, I loved that they had a disco ball in the tiny food court restaurant. The canes sauce was better than chick fil a by a milestone. It was tangy and delicious. Sadly the sauce and disco ball didn’t change the fact that the meal was still bland. It was just mediocre so it gets the fair rating above.
