Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers (333 Keahole Street)
About
A Hawaii Kai Quick-Service Staple
Located right in the heart of the Hawaii Kai shopping district, this Raising Cane's serves as a reliable fuel stop for locals coming off the waves or heading toward Sandy Beach. The space carries that signature high-energy rhythm you expect from the brand, with a steady stream of patrons moving through the line and the constant, rhythmic sound of fryers working behind the counter.
The Box Combo Experience
The menu remains laser-focused, centering entirely on quality chicken fingers that are marinated for 24 hours, hand-battered, and cooked to order. The golden-brown breading offers a distinct crunch that gives way to tender meat, best paired with their crinkle-cut fries and the iconic Cane’s Sauce—a tangy, peppery condiment that is arguably the main event. Don’t overlook the Texas toast, which is buttered and griddled until it achieves a perfect balance of softness and char.
Local Notes for Your Visit
Because this location serves as a major hub for East Honolulu residents, the drive-thru lane can occasionally snake through the parking lot during peak dinner hours. It is an ideal spot if you want a no-frills, consistent meal that prioritizes speed and comfort. Whether you are grabbing a quick bite after a hike at Koko Head or just need a satisfying meal without the fuss of sit-down service, this spot delivers exactly what the menu promises every single time.

Very weird, raising canes have been our go to restaurants whenever traveling to a different city, but this one locks one of its doors(can only open from inside, and looks like the main entrance) and the person on drive through absolutely lacks passion in the work… and the most important thing , we got 4 chicken fingers only in the Caniac Combo instead of 6,and we found out only after arriving back at the hotel.

This place was kept very clean. I mean the tables were pretty much wiped constantly and even when it was super busy I saw a few guys from behind the register leave their station and grab a towel and wipe them down. Of course they did this when there were no other customers there who needed to order something. If there was someone, they would just take their order immediately. The ice tea and non sweetend ice tea were also always full and the place was simply a great Rasin canes. I ordered a Caniac combo and just scarfed it down quickly. One thing I would like to note is that the bathroom is a single stall so one guy was going through it and I had to wait for him to be done, which was a while. That was my only con in experience and not something the workers could have done a thing about so that is why I give this place a five star ratings. The workers were also super friendly, considering it was rush hour.

I don’t really like chicken, I decided to give them a try. It was delicious. I had the chicken strips. Very tender and juicy. Very nicely battered and crispy. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed my meal.

Not joking, best chicken I’ve ever had. I have a sensitive stomach and this chicken has never rocked the boat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Aside from the food- Staff is good! Atmosphere is just want you’d want. Menu is east & straight to the point. I can be a crabby lady sometimes, but I always leave feeling better than when I came in! I think this business model is great! I want a Raising Canes T shirt!!

Great chicken fingers and fries, it's the best there while still hot out of the fryer. Their Texas toast and Cole slaw are also very good. Service was quick and pleasant.

Cane’s definitely lived up to the hype. The chicken was fresh, juicy, and crispy without feeling oily at all, just straight-up delicious. The bread was insanely soft and fluffy, the fries were hot and golden, and the service was friendly. Awesome experience, I’d happily come back for.

The service here was amazing!! Right when I walked in a cold blast of A/C fell on me and Justin Bieber was blasting over the speakers. Super spacious and plenty of seating compared to other Cane’s locations too! The staff was super helpful and helped me get my food QUICK! Always a great spot here : )
