Pho Saigon

I walk by this place almost daily. It is always busy around noon..so decided to try it. Waited till after 1:00. Lunch crowd gone. Walked in, quick seating. Service was outstanding. Had 2 waters on the table before we even got to it. Menus and orders taken promptly. The food was great. Beef summer rolls and peanut sauce were " Fat"..! Very good..peanut sauce excellent.. Huge bowl of Pho. Like the size of your head..!!! Great Pho.. Eggplant and chicken with blackbean sauce was excellent. Skin on the eggplant was a bit tough though..otherwise.. Its expensive for Vietnamese food. Like about 60.00 for 2 of us. But servings were big. Service excellent. Will definitely return. Some of the best Pho I have ever eaten.

Great service. Never had a problem waiting for a seat. I get the combination pho and it's one of the best on the island. The soup base is on the sweet but not so sweet side. Vegetables to add are always fresh. Btw, I think they are moving locations from Kapiolani to Midtown Eats on Keeaumoku. I saw a coming soon sign at the me location. The midtown eats parking which is located on the ground level of The Park condominiums is free and a rarity for the area. So can't wait.

Last minute srop great choice..food was really good and everyone was happy with their choices shareable portions I. My opion well worth it. We had a large group of 20 and they occomadated really fast.

We just tried two of its pho bowls. I had the 4-meat combo. The soup base was decent, but on the salty side, the meat quality was fine and the noodle texture was good as well. Nothing special here as it’s pretty normal here on the island. Prices of pho had gone out of control. I remember it used to be $6-7 per bowl every pho shop (okay it’s like 30+ years ago), nowadays it’s closer to $25 per bowl. The best part here was its free parking lot.

Food came out fast. Convenient parking. Staff are very attentive and courteous. Food was fresh and delicious. The bun, get a lot of meat.

Visited in the early evening during the week in January after shopping locally. No booking, straight to a table. Very quick food service. Service friendly and attentive. Venue clean. Food excellent - fresh, nutritious, authentic. Prices quite high.

My friend and I went here today for a late lunch on our way to Ala Moana. We were seated in a corner behind two ladies who were nearing the end of their meal. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we arrived, yet people who came in after us were served before our order was taken. My friend had enough time to use the bathroom before anyone approached our table. Only after my friend made eye contact with the server who was two tables down with two ladies (who had come in after us yet had their order taken and their food served before we had our order taken) did anyone come to help us. When the server approached us he was curt and short with us. We should have left but we were hungry. We placed our order for two phos, an appetizer and two drinks. The food arrived quickly which was the only positive thing about the meal. The tables around us were attended to but no one checked on us. We had to start gathering our belongings before the sever came over with the check. The entire time we were here we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable due to the attitudes of the staff. We will never come back. There are better pho places with better service. Save yourselves and your money and go there.

The taste of Vietnamese people is extremely standard. My boyfriend and I really like this place. Clean and serve very quickly. The waitress is very cute. We traveled to Hawaii but found this restaurant on the last day before we left, so we couldn't eat more times. Will come back if there is a chance to go to HNL. Extremely delicious. Don't miss Bun Bo Hue and grilled beef summer rolls

More-than-decent Vietnamese behind Ala Moana Center, with wide variety of noodle soup, bun, rolls, appetizers and a la carte entree options. Green Papaya Salad with Vietnamese Beef Jerky gets the plant-based side right, dressed with balanced nuoc cham. Special Rice Vermicelli Bun Combo, excellent — with shrimp paste and pork patties a truly unique and tasty option. Vietnamese Crepe (Banh Xeo) is more egg pancake than crispy, but wonderfully satisfying with complimentary lettuce, basil, mint and daikon pickle for wrapping. No frills interior, but more on the modern finish side. Attentive service.

We decided to try this establishment. It was a fantastic decision. First off, let me say the staff was phenomenal. I can only assume Henry is the owner, and the entire time we were here, he was going around from table to table talking to the patrons, and he is such a nice man. The food, oh dear Lord, was absolutely fabulous. Multiple flavors burst forth in your mouth with every bite. The rice, the beef, the broth, the shrimp, the spring rolls, and the pork were all incredibly delicious. The portion sizes are very large, too, and we weren't expecting that, and so we were too full to attempt desert because we just couldn't stop eating our main courses. The pomegranate tea was one of the best teas I've had the pleasure of drinking and would have to say it's a must try. Be prepared to have a hard time hearing because it can be a little noisy, but the atmosphere is very nice. This is a must eat at establishment.
