Wow I drove past this place many times, shame on me for not stopping by for a bite. Today I was just looking for breakfast and maaaayyyynnnn the breakfast combo!!! $9.59 bucks in ward is awesome, which included 2 eggs, 1 spam, 2 pocho sausage, 2 links, and 4 bacon.!!!. Most places would probably cost 15-20+ bucks for that. Not to mention, it was only after my order was almost done I see a sign for $1 adder for fried rice, shucks. Definitely going try that next time. I forgot to ask for over easy when I grabbed my bag and was like oh no don't be scrambled haha. We'll it seems to be standard as over easy it was, so if u want scramble be sure to ask. On top of the deal my food was out in a few minutes behind one small order and a large order, so gray job on quick time. Inside is your normal plate lunch seating area. There is also metered street parking along the north bound lane of Cooke St. They have a good size menu, and I definitely will be back to try some of their other food. For now I found my go to breakfast spot in ward area haha!!!

Longtime neighborhood favorite with a big menu of local island classics, including beef stew, beef curry, short ribs and much much more. Prices are more than reasonable, you can’t beat the $5 cheeseburgers that are wayyyyy better than any fast food burger. You must also get a side order of fries - fried fresh so they’re super crispy. The lunch crowd is a mix of office professionals, tradesmen and sometimes sketchy homeless looking guys - but my friend left her purse on the table one time and it was returned with everything - including cash - intact. There are few tables so plan for carryout unless you get there early.

6/2024 Haven't been here in a long while and was strolling through the neighborhood while waiting for something early. They open at 5 am. No one opens this early anymore, and it's good to see for a lot of early risers and construction workers. Simply, you can not go wrong with the prices. Higher but still a little old school. Nice lady in the back servicing and cooking with help. The breakfast special caught my eye. Two eggs, two scoop rice, one spam, 3 bacon, and two Portuguese sausages for $8.39. Thank God this kind of place still exists. It's not gourmet but certainly fills the stomach and the local soul. The lunch menu looks good, too, where you can still find shortribs for under $14. Nice to see, and a gotta try. 👌 😉🤙✌️
