Namaste Indian & Nepalese Cuisine

Excellent food and service. We were hungry after checking into a nearby resort. We wanted to have plain and good tasting Indian food and found this place right across the Ala Moana Blvd. The food was awesome. I would definitely recommend the jhol momo. Not too spicy but very flavorful. Lamb biryani was very good as well. My kids loved the butter chicken with naan. The lady (possibly the owner) was extremely nice to talk to. She was very welcoming to all the guests which definitely matters! I am going back again to eat here while being in Waikiki.

We had a good experience here. Samosa and Samosa Chaat are a must try items. They make fresh samosas which is very tasty. Tried Dal Tadaka & Kadhai Paneer and it was good too.

Delicious! Momo is something I can't find often and it was fresh and hot. Everything had lots of great flavor. I can't handle hot spicy and this was great. I'm sure they could really spice it up if you like it too. Appetizers were too good to stop for pics, but here is some butter naan and chicken Tikka Marsala

The food was here was amazing. We ordered the naan which was soft and buttery. The seekh kabob, malai chicken, and curry were delicious. They had the perfect amount of seasoning and were cooked perfectly. The meat was very tender.

Excellent food in a restaurant conveniently located near our hotel. After a week of Hawaiian style food, we were craving something different, and ended up here. The food was great, but our server was slow and a bit clueless - perhaps it was his first night here. We were quickly served waters, ordered our food and a sparkling water, but we had to ask after 10 min for that extra drink. He finally brought a tiny bottle with the cap still on, and no glass. We had to ask him again to remove the cap, but he never brought a glass or ice. The food was delicious, though. We got the veggie momos as a starter (you get 6 pieces and some sauce), which were very nice. The main dishes were excellent - we had chicken with spinach and korma veggies, with a biryani and a very fluffy, warm, perfect butter naan. Everything also came served with rice, so we had more than enough. Our table was very wobbly, taking away a bit from the dining experience, and we were frequently startled by the sounds of falling metal cups, silverware, and glass in the kitchen. Several diners around us made jokes about gravity being strong at this place. But again, food-wise, a very good choice. Lots of vegetarian options.

This is genuinely one of the best restaurants Ive ever been to. The food paired with the amazing service makes this the highlight of my week. Coming here was the first time Ive ever tried authentic Indian food and I fear theyve set the bar too high! Kamala, the owner of the restaurant Is the sweetest and most genuine and welcoming person and owner Ive met. If someone ever asks me a restaurant suggestion, the first place that always comes to mind is this amazing restaurant.

This is my first Christmas holiday trip to Hawaii to escape the cold. Last night we went to a restaurant but couldn't wait because the line was too long. Tonight we came back earlier to wait and have dinner. After an hour, we finally got our food. The restaurant doesn't take reservations, so you just have to wait patiently. The food was delicious. We ate everything.

An outstanding halal restaurant with curry flavours exceptional with wonderful starters. Came to Hawaii for a conference with colleagues and we ate there 3 times in a week. Lamb curry and korma, chicken, prawn and lamb Kadahi were some of the dishes ordered as well as a tofu curry. We had starters such as chicken wings samosas, momos paokoras and cannot fault "any" of them. You can ask for how spicy you would like so we went for spicy that is definitely like a madras hot but the medium was a great option for a warming spice level. We did not go for mild. I suspect if you go for a vindaloo it will be hot! Rice was ordered and you basically got a top up whenever you wanted that was inclusive of the price. Nans and rotis were not to doughy ans had a nice crisp to them without being dry. My absolute favourite was the Kadahi that was like a typical Jhalfrezi. For Hawaii that so super expensive, this was surprisingly good value at around $35 so £25. You may have to wait at busy times so please wait, it will be worth it. Staff are lovely and I highly recommend this. It is very authentic and worth the visit. You can tell by locals from South Asian were eating there.

If we’re in Honolulu and craving Indian food again, this will definitely be our go-to spot. We visited this restaurant and were immediately impressed by the warm atmosphere and delicious food. The service was truly top-notch. We tried the tandoori wings, Nepali momo, butter naan, and chicken tikka — and every single dish was incredibly flavorful and satisfying.
