Nagasaki Champon By Ringer Hut

This resturant had such a nostalgic taste to it for me. We ordered the classic chicken katsu, niku udon beef style, and the spicy miso ramen. Right away the katsu had that nostalgic childhood flavor when dipped with the sauce that you would always eat as a kid. The niku udon had a very sweet addicting flavor and the spicy miso ramen had just the right amount of spice and saltiness to it. Their portion sizings were really good for their prices it was able to feed 4 people and we didn't end up finishing our ramen and udon because there was just so much of it. The atmosphere isfor people who want a calm environment and is perfect for introverted people. The service was lovely and the food came out really fast. The only down side that I have is that they don't have dessert but that isn't a big deal but usual japanese resturant I go to have atleast mochi or some sort of traditional japanese flavored ice cream. Overrall this place was amazing and will be going more often!

Ringer Hut is a casual Japanese chain that I feel is quite underrated. While the prices are higher here than they are in Japan, the food—especially the Champon dishes—is consistently tasty, filling, and delicious. ​ The atmosphere when I visited was a bit depressing. It is a large, long restaurant, and because there was no music playing, the silence felt a bit off. All the groups and solo diners were spread out throughout the space, making it feel a little empty and lacking in energy. ​ The service was perfectly fine; it was efficient, though nothing specifically stood out as exceptionally good or bad. ​ The food is the main reason to come here. The Nagasaki-style noodles are unique compared to your standard ramen spots. If you want a meal that is hearty and full of vegetables and seafood, this is a solid choice in the mall. ​ If you are looking for a quiet place to sit down and enjoy a filling meal away from the loud, noisy food courts in ala moana, this is a great option.

This is an excellent place in the middle of all moana plaza for authentic japanese food. Whether you like street style or home style noodles, you'll get it. The staff are very courteous, helpful. The taste of the food awesome and very good value for money. Definitely recommend this place.
