Moke's Bread And Breakfast - Kaimuki

Packaging was just absolutely abysmal. Pancakes were sitting on top of the eggs so they were just completely soaked in egg yolk. The food was just okay for a simple breakfast but absolutely not worth the $20+

I came here for breakfast today and the staff were exceptionally nice. We got here at 730 trying to beat the crowds and the plan worked out well! We got seated first and really quickly! They open at 8 by the way. Sorry should have made that clear Also, we got a couple of their weekday wakeup specials. They are $6 each from 8-9 in the morning and they are such a steal. Honestly you could probably order multiple and they even offer it to go. It comes with pancakes, eggs, and bacon! The vibe is really nice in here as well. Good music, warm sunlight but also a nice breeze so it's not too hot. Definitely recommend coming here if you have the time. Just try to get here early! It can definitely get busy.

Delicious loco moco, definitely one of the top ones on the island. The lilikoi pancakes were also fantastic—not too sweet, slightly tangy, and very delicious. Parking is through a paid lot. They do not validate parking but it is very cheap ($0.75 for a half hour, $1.50 for an hour) Extremely clean bathroom. Apparently the portraits on the wall are real and not AI—confirmed by the waiter that it was one messy photoshoot

These Lilikoi Pancakes are the best on the island!! If you are visiting you have to hit this place up for breakfast. No exceptions!! Our server’s name was Sarah C, super nice!!

The moco’s were great. But the lilikoi pancakes were really good. Friend recommended getting the cream on the side which ended being a great call as the cream subdued the lilikoi flavor.

It’s been a long time since I have started coming to this place. We probably visit about 3 to 4 times per month and the staff are really nice to us. It’s become a bit of a habit for us to visit. The food is great. Especially the weekday special. It’s going to go wrong with the price is here. Plus, the staff are so nice. I definitely recommend that you come if you have a chance. Preferably, before nine or 10 AM because I can’t get pretty busy. You probably won’t be disappointed at all. They have my stamp of approval

It’s a small local diner with some counter outdoor seating and some tables on the interior. The sound carries indoors so if you have sensitive ears or hearing aids it might be hard to hear the stacking or bussing of plates and cutlery against each other echoing in the restaurant. The local style offerings (Portuguese sausage, fried rice, lilikoi sauce) made this place unique and attractive.

Their lilikoi pancakes are a must try! The butter cream with lilikoi flavor is so delicious, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The pancakes are soft and go so well with the cream. I also tried the Mokapu omelette which tasted good but the portion was a bit small for the price. There are two outdoor seating areas. I brought my dog and it was a little hot sitting outside but still nice to have the option to dine with him. Prices are on the higher side. Two pieces of lilikoi pancakes were $16.95. and the Mokapu omelette was $18.95. It’s a bit pricey for breakfast but worth visiting at least once for the pancakes. Parking is in the plaza parking lot you’ll need to pay and the restaurant is located on the second floor. Not sure if there’s an elevator.

Good breakfast spot. Cute interior, small space so you might have a bit of a wait on the weekends during brunch hours. Staff were friendly, service was quick. The portions are big and very filling so come hungry!

Moke’s is one of our favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Kaimuki. All of the staff are friendly and attentive, making the entire meal such a relaxing and pleasant experience. We love the Lilikoi pancakes (so fluffy and ono), their Loco Moco is one of my favorite on the island, the Reuben sandwich always satisfies my cravings for a NYC Reuben sandwich. The Moke’s proprietary blend of coffee goes perfectly with any of the breakfast offerings. For breakfast, try to get there before 9:00am or be prepared to wait a bit to get a table because Moke’s is a super popular spot for the locals and tourists.
