McDonald's - Honolulu (Valkenburgh St)

Went in on June 1st for my regular 2 Sausage McMuffins and a drink. Was told $13.27. I told the worker no egg and she repunched and again $13.27. The previous week the same order was $5.17. I’m thinking a promo ended but even if I paid full for 2 sandwiches it would still be less than $12.00. I told her I didn’t need to be robbed at a McDonald’s so I simply left. There is a serious problem with McDonald’s and their pricing policy. I’m aware that McDonald’s has a captive audience with all the late military members and their spouses but in economic times like we are experiencing here in America and Hawaii cranking up prices over 150% should not be the way to go. I will not be back to McDonald’s. I know all the reviews are spot on with their description of their displeasure at this location. Maybe the Navy should think about putting this place off limits until they get their act together.

Hubby and I decided to try the Grinch special but were disappointed. I ordered thru my phone app. We could barely hear the staff working at the window. It seems like he doesn’t want to be working there. The drive thru took forever. We waited about 10 minutes before we got to the window and another 10 minutes plus to get our food. The fries 🍟 had no flavor and no taste at all. I got a large fried but it was half full. I did not get the shaker bag with the Grinch salt 🧂. The soda was flat. The McRibs and double cheeseburger (2) was a little warm. I am not sure how long ago it was made. There were about 8 cars backed up from what I saw when we left.

Went there with the family, was forced to use the self oder kiosk, the machine didn't print a receipt and after waiting for a half hour they said they lost the order and need to provide a receipt in order to get food. So in the end they just robbed us of 40 bucks.

The bathrooms are trash, the whole dining area is dirty and no one seems to care

Since when does it take 20 minutes to get 2 burgers, fries and cokes AND I ordered at the kiosk to eat onsite?! And absolutely ZERO customer service when I went to check on my food! Absolutely horrible service! Corporate should step in!

On my lunch break from an 8/hr job Orientation. Dining room was very accommodating and not too many peeps other than children enjoying & laughing and running around in the indoor playground. Was nice to be in that moment watching kids an reminiscing how I miss being a kid again. Lol

Where do I even start? I’ve been coming here for 16 years, my whole life! This McDonalds is seriously falling apart. They are short staffed, thus it is busy every single day. If you want your food it will take 30 min - 1 hour. Even if you order online! Today I came in to get some breakfast, and we decided to get curbside pickup, thinking it would be faster to go inside. Thought wrong! It took 30 minutes for our order. And to add on top of it they couldn’t get the frappe machine working on the day I decide to get a frappe. That is because there were 2 regular workers, 2 managers, and 1 dining person. No cashier at all! That day had 2 people in line and about 5 people waiting for their orders, plus the driver thru, plus the people in the dining room. It was taking so long we ended up going inside to wait for it there! Never go to this McDonald’s. There are many other places in Moanalua to eat for breakfast that would be much faster!

We stopped in to grab a quick lunch. Ordering was easy at the kiosk. The restaurant was quite busy, but our food was brought out to us in a timely manner. Everything tasted yummy. The restrooms were clean.

I will not go back here. Ordered a number 7. 2 chs burgers, fries and a drink. (Medium size) Also a 6 pc chicken nuggets. They handed me a small bag and I looked at it and said, That's it?....... the order was crammed into this small bag I had with this place!!!

It was quite an experience, typically I like going to McDonald’s but after coming here( July 31) in McDonald’s located at Valkenburgh Street, it change my mind. First thing first was the staff were rude name (Joyce). We asked kindly to separate the creamer and sugar of the coffee since the kiosk only have the option ( special order) but when we got our coffee they didn’t do it and when we told that to “Joyce” about she just starred as if we asked them to separate. So I asked if they can replace it or at least have a cup with hot water and she said normally we charge for a hot water as if it was our fault. Then the atmosphere and the cleanliness of the place was absolutely disaster. Table were not wipe and sanitize and the rest room we also gross, it has a bad odor even right outside of the entrance of the rest room. Also, both garbages was full. Definitely not satisfied with the service of the staff and the cleanliness of the building especially they serve food
