McDonald's - Honolulu (Ala Moana Blvd)

The food tastes like McDonald's, and I feel like everything is priced similar to regular McDonald's (in the US). The deals, however, can let you get incredible value when using the app (eg, $12 worth of fries for only $4). It was crowded sometimes, but usually it is fine. But, there are pigeons which just walk around the McDonald's, and it is pretty funny to see birds just freely walking around McDonald's. I'm pretty sure that this McDonald's would not pass a health code inspection, but I don't have a problem with it.

Got to do something about the pigeons that fly inside. Don't sit by the windows the pigeons flew over our food flapping wind into our food. Lost my appetite.. 🤷

Updating to 1 star because they are so rude and their customer service is non-existent! I live close by so I order here pretty often. It is so hit and miss on the quality of the food and service. Sometimes everything is hot and fresh, order is correct, and sauces and napkins are in there. Other times the order is incorrect, sauces missing, and fries taste old and cold. The workers don’t seem to care that much about service but it’s fast food so I understand. It is the most expensive around and closes early most days with just a sign on the door (10pm or 11pm).

I visited the McDonald’s near the Ilikai Hotel because I was curious about using the self-service touchscreen ordering system. The kiosk was easy to use, and the entire ordering process was smooth and convenient, even for first-time users. Compared to other McDonald’s locations in Waikiki, this branch felt relatively less crowded, which made the experience much more relaxed. Its location is also very convenient, especially if you are staying at Prince Waikiki, as it is just a short walk away. This makes it a practical option for a quick and casual meal. I ordered a cheeseburger, small fries, and a small drink. This location was clean, efficient, and less hectic than expected, making it a good choice when you want a quick bite near Waikiki without long lines.

How can I begin to describe one of the most successful dang near monopolies on the market. Everything and anything you can desire that these golden arches hold thinnest walls.You better believe it's here. So you're getting to enjoy everything that mcdonald's brings to you and it's worldwide clientele, base, except for one special thing here. You're enjoying mcdonald's in paradise and at one of the locations that's the closest to the harbor right here in waikiki hawaii. Hot days?Yeah, all the time here I love the mixers and ice cream that they have.I enjoy a good oreo cookie reese's peanut butter mixer cannot go wrong when temperatures are over eighty five degrees all day long. If it's food, I like to keep it light and hit a snack wrap, nothing beats a crispy crunchy, deep fried chicken strip wrapped in ranch cheese tortilla and my mouth. The employees are nice and welcoming.They allow for a quick seamless in and out fast food experience. The property is wheelchair accessible and premierly located right where it sits on the corner of harbor and ala moana blvd. Take time to enjoy this quick, fast food champion here in Hawaii. Enjoy be safe. Thank you for your time.. I must admit there are no bathrooms on the property. So this is not your savior for that specific issue

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Service was fast and the food was as expected. Having some pigeons sneak their way in was pretty cool as well

We walked 10 min to this store mostly because our hotel concierge mentioned that McDonalds in Hawaii has special menu items. However when we got there almost everything that brought us in was unavailable. Kinda reminded me mcD ice cream machines always being ‘broken’. Uh huh….

I went here for a little snack, and a sugar free iced coffee. It's a very short walk from Hilton Hawaiian Village. The area itself is very busy so the light to cross is very long. The coffee was fresh even at 6:30 pm. I had some chicken bites they were hot and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful since I had ordered on my phone to another state they assissted me in cancelling that, and getting my order to the Ala Moana location.

Good location. Quite a bit of seating, larger inside than I would have expected. The decor inside is much fancier than your typical McDonald's. The employees were helpful and polite. Ordering is all done via 2 touchscreens at the front of the store. No public restrooms available here. Food is reasonably priced considering it's Hawaii but still more than your stateside store.
