Lucky Strike Honolulu
About
Elevated Lanes and Island Nights
Located right in the heart of the Ala Moana Center, Lucky Strike brings a high-energy fusion of upscale bowling and nightlife to the Honolulu scene. This isn't your typical dusty bowling alley; the space is polished, featuring plush lounge seating and a sophisticated layout that makes it a prime spot for after-work happy hours or weekend celebrations near the coastline.
Craft Cocktails and Crowd-Pleasing Flavors
The kitchen leans into elevated bar fare that caters to groups looking to share. You will find crispy appetizers and hearty sliders perfect for fueling up between frames. The signature cocktails are poured with a heavy hand, and the bar area offers a clear view of the neon-lit lanes, creating a vibrant backdrop of clattering pins and upbeat music. It is a fantastic choice if you appreciate a louder, social atmosphere where the energy shifts from casual dining to a club-like pulse as the night progresses.
A Local Tip for Your Visit
While the valet and garage parking at the shopping complex are expansive, finding a spot near the specific elevator bank for the restaurant can save you a long walk through the mall. Be prepared for the acoustics; the open design means sound travels, making it an ideal venue for lively group outings rather than intimate, quiet conversations. Whether you are aiming for a strike or just grabbing a drink by the bar, this spot captures the modern nightlife spirit of Honolulu perfectly.

I bought the Lucky Strike Summer Pass. They said they would not accept it despite this location being listed as a place that accepts the pass (Every Lucky Strike and AMF) and during the hours that the pass is valid. Shady business practice.

Review: Sunday Football at Lucky Strike What a great way to watch Sunday football! Lucky Strike is the perfect spot for family and friends to catch the games, especially since they open bright and early at 7 a.m. on Sundays during the season. The staff here is a big part of what makes this place so special. They are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy, which creates a fantastic atmosphere. It's clear they go the extra mile—they even remember regulars and their favorite teams, which is a really nice touch. It's fun to see all the staff members sporting football shirts and jerseys, too! The venue itself is always clean and easy to get around. It's also very kid-friendly, with a game area that keeps the little ones entertained. If you're looking for a comfortable, lively, and welcoming place to enjoy Sunday football, Lucky Strike is definitely it.

The place itself is clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It was honestly just the price for us that killed the experience. It was around 120$ for three people to bowl 2 rounds with water and french fries

The manager Amanda is amazing!! We traveled from California for my son's football tournament and met the team for a party at Lucky Strike. We had the best time playing games and dancing the night away (the DJ killed it!) 💃🏼 My son lost his wallet and Amanda reached out to us after we flew home to let us know she found it (and even offered to mail it)! I can't thank her and the waitstaff enough for such a great time and going above & beyond 💖💖💖 we are grateful for people like you!

They were amazing hosts for the Super Bowl. The raffle drawings really topped off an already great experience with good food, drinks, and excellent service from everyone working Super Bowl Sunday. Ally especially stood out — she was nothing short of amazing. Super attentive, engaged, and just an all-around awesome waitress/bartender who made sure we were taken care of the entire time. The upstairs staff was great, but Ally truly made the experience next level.

Update 1/22/23: Still awesome and you know it cause it's getting busier! Most busy times are Sunday morning football, Friday/ Saturday nights and while kids are out of school. Food, games and service is still great. Jamie the hostess/server is so awesome....just saying!! Update 11/27/21: Back for more at the dining area and still awesome! The customer service is exceptional!! Tried the Loco moco this time and it was fabulously different! May be a regular here! Update 11/13/21: Tried the dining area and its great! My son loved it, food comes out nice and hot....but the service....AWESOME!!! Superb, will be back to try something different!! NOTE: This is game only feedback. I am not much of a game player but if my kids are having fun then it's all good. They played for hours after we had dinner and it was a nice atmosphere for me. It was not as crowded, probably due to COVID. Overall, kids want to go back!!

Located on the 3rd floor of the mall,we went around noon time and it was pretty packed with family and all sorts of people having a great time with arcade games, ticket games, and just eating and drinking at the bar and restaurant. Had a great time playing some of the games and just chilling out and winding down after some shopping at the mall. There's also a small bowling alley upstairs. The door and stairs to the bowling area is at the far end right corner of Lucky Strike. There's actually another bar upstairs along with the bowling alley so if you want a quieter place to sip a drink, then go up there. If you want a more lively atmosphere ,tvs with sports on and do not mind the crowd and noise, then the bar downstairs is where you wanna be at.
