About
Fueling Kaimuki with Island-Grown Vitality
Stepping into Leahi Health is like catching a breath of fresh air in the middle of Honolulu. This isn’t your typical heavy-duty lunch spot; it’s a bright, minimalist haven where the scent of fresh kale and zesty ginger hangs in the air, instantly grounding you. Known as a local institution for plant-based nutrition, the menu centers around hearty, colorful bowls designed to revitalize rather than weigh you down.
Signature Bowls and Cold-Pressed Energy
The culinary philosophy here is simple: keep it raw, local, and vibrant. You have to try their signature 'Mana Bowl,' a powerhouse of flavor featuring locally sourced grains, crisp greens, and their legendary house-made dressings that strike a perfect balance between savory and tangy. Pair your meal with one of their cold-pressed juices—the 'Green Light' is a staple for regulars craving a clean, chlorophyll-rich boost. The staff crafts these drinks with a precision that makes you appreciate the simplicity of high-quality produce.
The Kaimuki Pace
While the atmosphere is breezy and upbeat, be prepared for a bit of a localized hustle. It’s a popular haunt for surfers and professionals alike, meaning the line can stretch toward the door during the midday rush. Snagging one of the few counter seats is a bit of a sport, but the casual, open-air design makes it easy to grab your order to-go if you want to enjoy your meal under the nearby palm trees. Whether you are a dedicated vegan or just looking for a genuinely fresh meal in the heart of the city, this spot delivers an honest, unpretentious experience that feels distinctly Hawaiian.

Food is so unique and delicious, it’s one of my go to places whenever I’m in town. Unfortunately I’ve just had bummer experiences with ordering ahead and picking up via the Clover app. For some reason it seems like no one really knows where my order is and I end up waiting longer than if I had just ordered in person. Other than that food is really delicious.

Tried the papaya salad today and it was a large portion with a nice variety of textural toppings that felt and tasted very fresh and satisfying. Decent price too, and the staff are friendly. Only wished the sauce was spicier and had a stronger flavor, and that the tofu had something more going on- it was just raw cubed tofu with no pan fry or seasoning. Interested to come back for their Taco Tuesday and to try the Baja bowl next time!

Tried both the Rainbow Tacos and Breakfast Tacos here — absolutely loved them! The portion size is perfect for a satisfying lunch; one dish is more than enough for one person. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and wholesome. I also tried their house-made mango habanero salsa… wow! Sweet, spicy, and the perfect kick — definitely a must-have. Highly recommend for anyone looking for tasty, healthy eats.
