L&L Hawaiian Barbecue - Honolulu (Kapahulu Avenue)

Hungry after beach time, we popped into Ala Wai Golf Course location and feasted out on local grinds. We ordered Chicken Katsu plate, and another with Curry and Fish plate lunch Portions were huge, we all will get two meals from our orders. Food was made fresh and delivered to our table hot and tasty Was interesting listening to the men at their tables with their buddies discussing their rounds and paying a few debts. Not my favorite L&L for a restaurant environment, but food was delicious so no real complaints

The view from the golf course was the highlight of the visit. Ordered the kalua pork and cabbage and it was highly disappointing. I wasn’t able to get anyone’s attention for the duration of my friend having their meal, so I had to sit here and wait and eat from their plate. The bbq mix was decent

Really a hole in the wall location being inside of a golf club, but the food does not disappoint. I was very surprised by the quality. The portions are also pretty large. Service is slower but there was only one person working all the tables. Really some of the best Hawaiian bbq I've had.

We were looking for something Hawaiian and came across this place. I am so glad we found it! The food was absolutely amazing. The flavors were just right and great portion size for the price and not over priced like a lot of other restaurants. I recommend the grilled beef or garlic shrimp. We liked this place so much that we came a second time before our trip was over and of course we weren’t disappointed the second time around either. I would 100% recommend!

Wow! Absolutely delicious BBQ chicken plate with mac salad and rice for an amazing low price! Massive portion of chicken. Located inside the golf club. Fast, friendly service, too.
