La Bettola Waikiki

We came here to try the special Uni Pasta. This sister restaurant from Tokyo. This is their second location and happens to be in Hawaii. The food here is delicious and has lots of flavour and it really show cases chef Tsutomu Ochiai on its original uni pasta. I was lucky enough to come here twice and had the chance to enjoy the other sections on the menu. Service and atmosphere is wonderful very relaxing restaurant with an open concept. Keep in mind prices are bit high and with the extra drinks it can for add up by the end of your meal.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing La Bettola’s 7-course meal, and I must say, it was not only reasonably priced but also perfectly portioned—just the right amount to leave you satisfied without feeling overstuffed. The ambiance of the restaurant - with its floor to ceiling aquarium - added to the charm, making it an ideal spot for a romantic date night. Each course was thoughtfully curated, showcasing the creativity and skill of the chefs. One standout dish for me was the savory macaroon; it was nothing short of delicious and truly a culinary highlight of the evening. Our server John was warm and attentive, which made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return for another delightful meal.

Overall, it was a great experience. The view of the aquarium, along with the great food and staff, put it over the top. The bread the restaurant has there is made in-house, and when I say the bruschetta was to die for with the crunchy but soft bread with the tasty tomatoes, it was delicious at that. The pasta - is impeccable. It does say it has chili flakes, which may steer some away from picking it, BUT it is more tasty than hot. Overall, the bartender and singing waiter added a great vibe to the restaurant.
