L&L Hawaiian Barbecue - Honolulu (Liliha St)

I ordered a mix plate while my dad ordered garlic chicken. Multiple families arrived after (3-5). We waited 20 minutes before we got our food. The families who arrived after sefe served their food before ours. When I told the cashier we were still waiting she told me that our order wasn't ready because the garlic chicken takes long to cook.The cashier beside her calls out a garlic chicken order but says it isn't ours and passes it to another family who came after us.

Very good. Food is big and portion is lots. Also food is tasty also this is the update menu i got. They always ran out of menu.

Bar none—THE BEST L&L on the Island. The portions are disproportionately massive and every dollar is spent with no regrets. Although the building isn’t in top shape, it’s fits the stereotype you’d imagine from an authentic but mouth-watering spot. Don’t go to Walmart’s upcharged L&L, don’t go to Ward’s L&L. This is the one.

Food was amazing. Had the chicken katsu. If you buy the regular size it’s huge. Well worth the price. But good luck eating it all in one sitting. Very delicious. Only issue was barely any seating. Other than that great spot to grab food.

Since my nursing resident lived nearby I called in his order and mine. A curry stew and fried shrimp, and teriyaki pork, regular sizes. Picked up in 15 minutes, no wait. My first time eating from here but hopefully not my last.

Quality portions, pricing, and atmosphere. Had to stop by the original spot to pay homage to where it all started. Thoroughly enjoyed the loco moco and pork bowl.

This is your classic Hawaiian BBQ experience! The Chicken Katsu is ON POINT, and the Kalua Pork is tasty!!

Ordered the classic Chicken Katsu with mac salad and rice. Simple but very good. These portions were huge though, we easily could have split the small size. I ordered the large size and it was enough for me to make three meals out of it.

Wow, great experience. Wantd to try the loco from the original place and here it was. Looks like nothing has changed. Rundown shack, friendly service, quick preparation, great tasting, and HUGE portion. Meat on top of a bed of rice covered in eggs and smothered in gravy.....what is not to like. Great lunch and all for less than $15. Nothing to complain. Given four stars because this is my first visit. Good was good but want to try other dishes (like chicken katsu) before giving the fifth star.
