L&L Hawaiian Barbecue - Honolulu (Sand Island Access Rd)

Wanted to get a quick bite before our excursion and this place blew me away. Told the guy at the front we only had a few minutes and he said that the ribs will be done quickest and in two minutes sure enough they were done. Great service and amazing ribs

I work near by. The previous owner retired. This L&L took over by local people. Both of the owner are friendly and super nice, always shows Aloha Spirit. It is not only business , it is about providing a wonderful place for lunch break. The food menu here is refreshed ! The restaurant are fully renovated! Clean and tide! From kitchen to seat are! The posters designed so cool! I ordered the lighter food garlic fish! It is very fresh and tasty！ Highly recommend! You must give them a try!

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in Honolulu never disappoints! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with that comforting, local style vibe that just feels like home. This is one of best l&l locations that make garlic shrimp yum!! And the family that run it are so friendly and make it feel relaxed. To hell with the "customer' vibes. It's giving... aunty/uncle's shop vibe. Just relax eh?

We loved the food and the huge servings here! The lady who took our order was warm and friendly as well, she was fond of my little son, who greeted her. Cannot beat the price ($ 11-13 for a meal!) and huge serving vs all over the island! I couldnt finish my food i ate it until dinner haha. They are drive in and take out food shop, cash only and 4 indoor tables only though. Budget + family friendly, great food choices. Bonus: this whole strip/building are small food businesses side by side. Desserts are just nextdoor too.

Pretty good bowls. You get what you pay for on the burgers (they are cheap!). We had a hard time getting the staff to understand what we wanted (no ketchup on the burger just was not going to happen). Shades of SNL "No hamburger, cheeseburger!"

L&L is all over the island... it a good place to get a quick bite to eat. The food is pretty tasty and I eat here from time to time when I don't know where else to go. Overall, I am sure you won't disagree.

Really good food with very friendly and helpful staff. Their house made Chinese food cooked daily is always good. My go to dish is the crispy roast chicken and the chicken katsu curry. Would highly recommend!

Ok atmosphere nothing spectacular or any different from the other locations. I don't eat a whole lot of diner food but food is ok. Prices reasonable. Not a place to eat if you want to eat healthy. But a favorite local hangout.

Super friendy staff. Nice family run place. Large portions at affordable prices. Best L and L on the island. Good friend booked in advance a private party here and they catered top quality chinese food. 5 solid stars for Chinese food
