L&L Hawaiian Barbecue - Honolulu (Kilauea Ave)

I ordered a plate of meat jun and it was by far the WORST meat jun I’ve ever had m. Small portion. Super thin and not even cut. Do not order meat jun from here

This was all delicious! Smaller than we expected but I'm not sure what we expected. Excellent breakfast choice!

The environment is clean and hygienic, and the food is served quickly. BBQ Mix is my favorite .All is good!

Mediocre food for high prices. Charged me $1.80 for a side order of katsu sauce “2oz” after I just paid $20 for a chicken Katsu Plate Lunch. Local spot if you’re just looking to get stuffed with food and fall asleep after. I’d recommend for someone who is just purely hungry. Loco Moco drive in is better

We had the chicken and beef plate it was so delicious. The macaroni salad was on point. The shrimp fried rice had really sweet shrimp that were a good size.

I have been going to the Kahala location and loved their teri chicken. Things have changed. They now serve the worse teri chicken ever! The chicken is way, way over cooked! The chicken is dry, tough, texture like beef Jerky and with very little teri sauce if any. I have mentioned this to the clerk today and expected a better experience, again, as I sit here eating my plate, the chicken is dry, tough, way over cooked or was warmed up to many times, some parts I spat out as it was dry stringy and chewy. It could not be broken down to swallow or I would have choked! I discarded it. No teri sauce at all. Although I live across the street from the Kahala location, I will be going to the Kaimuki, Waialae store. The teri chicken is very tender; juicy, tasty and they put teri sauce on the meat. Totally inconsistent to what L & L 's is known for. I must mention that I'm handicapped.

The service was very pleasant, the cashier taking orders has a great atmosphere about herself. Let me tell you the steak and rice with garlic shrimp added was bomb !

Very disappointed with L&L Kahala. Ordered a mini Garlic Ahi-no rice or mac salad all french fries. Paid $12.95 +1.00 extra for fries (which I wasn't told)= $14.61. The garlic was undercooked and only a small piece of ahi. I get it that fish is high now but really....to charge me extra for fries🤦‍♀️.
