About
Airport-Adjacent Comfort Food
Positioned just moments from the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, this Koapaka Street destination serves as a reliable landing pad for travelers and locals alike. Whether you are shaking off jet lag or fueling up before a flight to the neighbor islands, the space offers the predictable, welcoming hum of sizzling griddles and clinking coffee mugs that define the quintessential diner experience.
The Pancake Tradition
The menu remains anchored by the signature buttermilk pancakes, consistently fluffy and served with a variety of fruit toppings or the classic warm syrup carousel. Beyond the breakfast staples, the kitchen turns out hearty omelets and savory crepes that provide a substantial meal at any hour. You will find that the interior captures a nostalgic, blue-hued aesthetic that feels familiar regardless of how far you have traveled.
A Local Observation
While the proximity to the airport makes this an incredibly convenient stop, keep in mind that the morning rush can lead to a bustling, high-energy environment. The parking lot can fill up quickly during peak travel hours, so it pays to arrive a few minutes early if you are on a tight schedule. It is an ideal spot for families or solo commuters looking for a straightforward, comforting meal without the fuss of downtown Honolulu crowds. The service moves with the pace of a busy transit hub, ensuring that your plate arrives hot and your coffee cup stays full while you watch the nearby airfield activity.

Had high expectations since it was my first time in Hawaii and my first time trying IHOP. Unfortunately, the experience started off a bit disappointing as the first staff member who seated us wasn’t very welcoming. Thankfully, the server who took over was an absolute darling and really turned things around service-wise. I just wish I had gotten her name because she was the highlight of our visit. Food took around an hour to arrive. The pancakes were good as expected, but the Classic Benedict was a letdown. I was hoping for a runny egg, but it came out more like a boiled egg. The Sirloin Steak Tips were tender, though not particularly memorable. I’d love to say we had a great experience, but it may have just been an off day for them. Service for all the tables seemed slow, and they also appeared to be having issues with their soda machine.

Don't come here for mother's day breakfast, because it is packed! I did and eventually got a table (yay), the staff was extremely friendly and nice. We all got our fill of breakfast dishes and ooh the pancakes are so fluffy! There's definitely something for everyone here with their extensive menu! Highly recommended for good, comforting breakfast dishes and food!

My server is Faith and she's an excellent server. She's friendly, respectful, kind, and patient. From the moment I sit down to the time I am done, it was a pleasure. I travel all over the world and I must say she's the top 10. The foods was delicious, 😋 proportions were perfect, the price is reasonable, and the environments is nice and open. I would like to come back if possible and definitely recommend to family and friends.

This is my ihop experience in Seattle but it was started from this ihop HNL airport 2024/9/7 This is the review i wrote for the ihop seatac airport My first IHOP experience was in Hawaii last year and ordered a Colorado omelette. I liked it so much I was in Hawaii for like a little less than two months. while I was in Oahu, I went to the ihop restaurant 7 times the one right next to the HNL air port(we stayed at best western hnl airport). I tried other meals but definitely Colorado omelette was the best and my first and last meal when I was in Hawaii. Before visiting Seattle, i arrived in Vancouver and did rent a car to go to IHOP. I ordered the Colorado omelette. Ig in Canada they serve an omelette with the source on it. After Canada trip, I visited Seattle. It was nice but before leaving the us i went to this restaurant(the one close to the Seattle air port)and ordered the omelette. It was so nice then I felt I was ready to leave the us but the flight to Tokyo Haneda was cancelled lol. The company gave me a free hotel stay and 100 usd meal voucher. On the next day before leaving Seattle I came to this place again then ordered the omelette in the same table lol needless to say it was so good and I flew back to Japan thank you To proof my preference , I added the pictures so u can tell the omelettes I ordered were not on the same day which means I came to this place twice lmao Ps I’m coming to this place ihop Honolulu airport this Sunday and I’ll add pics can’t wait!

This store has the most beautiful service, atmosphere and quality of food. It’s very neat and clean. The server (Hector Valdez) was very acknowledgeable and very helpful. He was very polite as well the other staff. They smile and greeted you with their Aloha spirit. I had received my food at the right amount of time. My food was so hot and fresh made. Definitely would like to recommend this store to all my family and friends

My family and I came here today and we all agreed that we'd rate it as just average. It wasn't horrible, as we've been to worse places, but it wasn't anything special either. Out of 10, we'd rate it as a 4-5. The hostess/waitress was nice but it didn't seem like anyone else was really helping her. - The parking lot is small, so not easy to find a stall - The dining room was a decent size and looked clean, until I sat down and saw sticky fingerprints on the syrup bottles and flies flying around - Drinks were good - Food was just so-so. We had a variety of items which my family rated for me below - They ran out of ketchup (Yes, ketchup at a breakfast restaurant). But I will give the waitress an extra star for trying her best to find us ketchup packets when she appeared to be the hostess and waitress for every table on her own. Pancake Combo > I rate it 5/10 as the eggs and bacon were perfect, however, the pancakes and hash browns tasted like they cooked them on the same griddle/pan as the sausages. The hashbrowns were dry and did not taste very good. Breakfast Sampler > 5/10 > It was an average breakfast and the hash browns were a little dry and not crispy Chicken Biscuit Sandwich > 6/10 > really good but messy and falls apart easily Chicken tenders > 7/10 > Good, normal chicken tenders and the fries were decent

Ihops now a days generally disappoint me, but the service here was very humble, quick, and on point. The food was SUPER good! Well cooked, prepared, and presented just like a picture. It's pretty expensive, but I guess it was worth it. There are however homeless people outside asking for money or cigarettes, so I suggest to stay inside 🤣 It was generally clean throughout as well as the Restrooms.
