Harbor Pub & Pizza
About
A Slice of Local Honolulu Flavor
Tucked away near the bustling Honolulu Harbor, Harbor Pub & Pizza serves as an unpretentious escape from the surrounding industrial landscape. It is the type of place where the air smells of salty Pacific breezes mixed with the heavy, comforting scent of bubbling mozzarella and toasted sourdough crusts. The interior feels lived-in, featuring worn wooden surfaces and a low-slung ceiling that keeps the conversation intimate despite the steady clatter of silverware and the hum of harbor traffic outside.
Island Comforts
This is the go-to spot for those who prefer their pizza with a side of local grit rather than white-tablecloth service. The menu focuses on hearty, hand-tossed pies that prioritize a chewy, robust crust—a rarity in a city dominated by high-end fusion. Locals swear by the garlic-heavy specialty pizzas, often paired with a cold pitcher of beer after a long day near the docks. It is a no-frills environment, so do not be surprised if you have to squeeze past a few patrons to claim your stool; the tight seating is part of the charm.
Why You Should Drop By
Harbor Pub & Pizza is best suited for groups looking to avoid the tourist-heavy crowds of Waikiki. It offers an authentic look at how Honolulu works and eats. The service is brisk and straightforward, reflecting the hardworking spirit of the maritime district. While parking in the area can be a bit of a puzzle during peak afternoon hours, the combination of a relaxed atmosphere and satisfying, classic pub fare makes the effort worthwhile. Whether you are catching a game on the screens or just grabbing a quick bite before heading back to the coast, the pub provides a reliable, grounded culinary experience in the heart of the city.

I've seen other reviews about the service. It is correct. (Food is marginal) I had the combo Sandwich claim to be 4 lb of meat. More like 4 slices. Wife had the lasagna ( it was the special) and it was a actually good (reason for the 3) Service lacked a lot. Our server never smiled. Took our order and never checked back after bringing us the food.

Went for breakfast and it was very nice. The food tasted amazing, and we had great service. Some of the seating can do with a bit of an upgrade, but very good atmosphere. Would definitely visit again!

Great food & service on a Monday night. Everything was hot and fresh. Had pizza, burger, and ham & cheese sandwich. Would definitely go back.

The food and the drinks are really good and reasonably priced. Drinks will run you $8.75 versus $20.00 each next door. The only thing that was a negative was the restrooms. They are beyond disgusting. They are worse than a gas station bathroom. Kind of makes you think twice about the kitchen. They need to be torn out and redone. It could be an awesome place with a little work.

Loved the pizza! Most combination pizzas tend to be soggy with all the ingredients but look how my slice doesn’t bend! It had a crispy base—maybe pan fried?

The pizza was omgggggggg sooooooo good, the taste was amazing, it was filled with alot of vegetables. The tuna melt sandwich was decent. Our order took 20 minutes to get ready kind of slow, but the workers were very friendly. I would go hear especially since it's near the docks with boats that you can see while eating.
