Habitant at Nordstrom

Habitant is a stylish, casual bar and lounge located inside select Nordstrom department stores, typically on the second floor near the men's or women's clothing sections. It serves handcrafted cocktails, wine, beer, and light bites, such as maple bacon deviled eggs, providing a relaxing, centrally located stop during shopping trips. To my knowledge, Habitat at Nordstrom is only found in Honolulu, Downtown Seattle, and Chicago. Why can't Phoenix be on that list because this place seems delightful. All we have are coffee shops inside out Nordstroms. I have seen my Cycle Buddy, Randy S. check in here plenty of times. When he recommended grabbing a drink here while I was in town, I jumped on the invite... and then I stole his drink. Cynar 70 on a rock. Ooh lah lah. I also stole all the chocolate mints. What a great spot! It was fun people watching for the short duration we were there. I can see why he enjoys coming here.

A twenty dollar small plate of crab with few pieces of crackers is not worth it, and does not look appetizing. It tasted fishy and doesn't look like or taste of crab at all. The bartender couldn't careless about you, always look mean, and makes you feel unwanted. Well, this is a place for public and he is a worker there. They should be me more welcoming to any customers. I shop at Alamoana often and Nordstrom happens to be one of my favorite place to go.

6/2025 Been frequenting this nice,cozy find quite a bit, especially on Wine down Wednesdays. You cannot beat the 50% off most all wine bottle special. It's also not like the carry bad labels either. Their list is simple but elegant as is the atmosphere. Located on the 2nd floor in the middle of Nordstroms, this little secret is a pleasant way to kill some time, watch a quick game on TV, heck out the foot traffic while contemplating that to do list, or enjoy random conversations with regulars and newbies alike. Everyone knows the friendly staff by name and the cocktails are pretty dang good too. It's not the cheapest place in the world to get a cocktail but what place is nowadays and the ambiance provides that added value. Hence, Wednesdays. Give them a try when you're near Foodland or shopping in the area and pamper yourself with an unexpected pleasant break. 😉🤙✌️
