Golden Coin Bake Shop and Restaurant

Wife craved for lomi and taho, we've been going to this place for a long period of time now everytime we crave for lomi and taho, but this morning is not so good experience at and it's very disappointing disturbing and disgusting as the lomj soup i ordered for my wife have little cockroach in it, wife started throwing up and getting sick, we called them right away to let them know and they told me that It might have came form thier noodles, this is unacceptable, this should be brought up to food and safety commission here in hawaii if there's one, now im also questioning the taho or the other food that they are serving here at this location kalihi golden coin. Harsh but this is reality and ill bet you that the management will just shrug this of thier shoulder and keep doing what they are doing.

If you don’t know what you want DO NOT GO HERE… tried to get a little breakfast treat but no one spoke English and they all looked at me like I was doing something wrong… super rude vibes

They serve very little to the tinola papaya for almost $10 one piece small slice papaya ang two piece very small chicken, soo disappointing 🥺😠 …

Friendly, great traditional Filipino food food is delicious. Have a selection of desserts can order premade or from a menu.

Food was served not hot and wasn’t reheated before serving. Staff gave inconsistent information about the soup lid we asked for takeout, one said we had to pay, another said it was free. Bathroom was filthy, and the air conditioner was dripping water onto our table while we were eating. Very poor customer service at this branch. Very disappointed

Unfortunately you cannot rate lower than a one.. the absolute worst experience in food I’ve had on the island. The food was cold, bland and all around nasty. My total was 55 dollars for 2 meals and 2 drinks. I wish I would’ve just gone elsewhere. Save your money and go to a nice sit down restaurant, it’ll be the same price with better experience.

Golden coin has the best Pancit noodles or Lumpia taste good and ono Grinds I hope it doesn't close for good in the Honolulu locations

To go on Filipino food, desserts, goodies, frozen food and more. They have a lots of stuff to choose from. Banana lumpia, pichi-pichi, dinuguan, sinigang bangus and more to mention. love their palabok, spaghetti, halo-halo and pan de sal. Warm pandesal is available all day. Staff are very nice, fast and helpful. Parking is limited but sufficient as people just quickly come and go.

People is always friendly and the always have plenty transitional Filipino food. You can also grab to cook at home.
