Giovanni Pastrami

Giovanni’s Pastrami absolutely delivered. I ordered the Pastrami Wagyu Burger with a Caesar salad and both were seriously top tier. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and stacked with perfectly seasoned pastrami that paired insanely well with the Wagyu beef. Every bite was packed with flavor without being overpowering. The Caesar salad was fresh, crisp, and a perfect balance to the richness of the burger. You can tell they put real care into the quality of their food. Great portions, great service, and an awesome atmosphere overall. Definitely one of the spots I’ll be coming back to whenever I’m craving a solid burger in Hawaii. Highly recommend checking them out!

5 stars all around!! The service excellent. The staff wonderful. The entertainment fabulous. The food top notch. We were celebrating our Anniversary and we came home with a complimentary slice of strawberry cheesecake! Nom nom!!!

Overall quality not worth the money save your cash and try another spot. Everyone has their own taste and likes so you be your own judge. Tried fettuccine Alfredo was super thick cream and not much flavor spaghetti bolognese was bland no real flavor to it and tasted more like our of a can . Location is prime on the waikiki walk and expected something a little better quality. Resteraunt looks nice and staff is friendly but that can onky take so far if you came to eat .

Sports bar and great food. A mass of TVs and it can get very crowded during football games. The service was very good on our visit. Our food came out hot and fresh. I had the GP Dip Pastrami and the wife ordered the Pastrami Reuben. The meat was very lean and the flavor is outstanding. Both sandwiches were served with fries and a snappy pickle spear. Process are were delicious 🤤 and Cheese Pizza 🍕 yum and free slice during happy hour with a drink purchase. Would come again!

I really wanted to like Giovanni Pastrami, but this was a complete miss — and an unnecessarily expensive one. My bill came out to $80 for one person, including a 20% tip (because I don’t fault servers for kitchen mistakes). At the time, I even mentioned the total to my server, Corey (name may be slightly off), and she responded — almost smirking — “Oh yeah, Waikīkī is expensive.” No. Absolutely not. When I got back to my room and actually looked at the receipt, I realized why it was $80: I was charged for TWO orders of nachos and TWO sides of jalapeños. I barely ate any of it — because the food was bad. The $19 nachos came out burnt the first time. I genuinely don’t understand how you mess up nachos. Chips. Cheese. Heat. That’s it. The second round was slightly better, but still not good. No discount. No comp. Nothing — just apologies. The cocktails were fine. Drinkable. Nothing special. The food — at least what I had — was horrible. Let’s be clear: I’m a New Yorker, I live in California, and I’ve been coming to Hawaiʻi since I was a child. I know expensive. This wasn’t “Waikīkī expensive.” This was sloppy and careless. I’m keeping this at two stars only because the manager was genuinely polite and handled the interaction respectfully — the sole bright spot in this experience. For $80, there are countless places in Waikīkī where one person can eat extremely well and actually enjoy themselves. This is not one of them.
