Was on vacation looking for some fresh fish for dinner & Ginza DID NOT disappoint!! Fish was amazing and rolls were beautifully crafted 🍣 very well thought out flavors created a unique experience & our server was superb 👌 next time we are in town, I'll be sure to return!

Fantastic sushi spot in Ward area. Right across from Merrimans and Whole Foods. I enjoyed the twister and avenger rolls, a few pieces of nigiri, and the fried pork gyoza. A few notes on the food. I prefer pan fried gyoza to the deep fried version offered here, but it was still good. For the avenger roll, I’d recommend getting the sauce on the side. It tastes good, but I personally didn’t want so much. They also unexpectedly put some mayo on the hamachi nigiri pieces. I would have preferred it plain. Service was friendly and the space was really nice. Price was reasonable. Great date spot. I will definitely be back.

I had high hopes for Ginza Sushi based on the strong reviews, but unfortunately my experience didn’t live up to them. It started with the drinks. While some people may not mind canned beverages, it felt out of place for a restaurant with such a nice atmosphere. On top of that, there was no alcohol available, which was surprising. The service was also disappointing. We waited over 35 minutes just to receive our first two rolls. During that time, a group across the restaurant was being loud and disruptive, and despite multiple people clearly noticing, the staff didn’t step in. It gave the impression that they were either unconcerned or avoiding the situation altogether. As for the food, I ordered the spider roll, and honestly, it was one of the worst I’ve had in years. The Captain Crunch roll was okay, but nothing memorable. Overall, the restaurant feels like it has potential, but it’s not being fully realized. Faster service, better table attention, and improved food quality would make a big difference.

Ohmygosh so GOOD! My husband and I loved this place! Our amazing server Harry recommended the Moana roll and I 10/10 also recommend. We tried the steamed gyoza, the spicy ahi avocado roll, the Moana, and the Beauty and the Beast. Loved it all! It was all so fresh and delicious. Ask for Harry if he’s working, he was so friendly and helpful!

The food quality is good but not excellent. It’s a good place for sushi and the price is reasonable c but there is nothing that stands out here that I would return for.

Great sushi in a beautiful new restaurant with friendly staff. I came in alone and had the dinner set. Everything in the set was great, and the set was priced reasonably given the quantity (9 pieces of nigiri + 6 piece negihama hand roll) And variety of sushi present. Additionally, the restaurant is currently BYOB and I am not sure if they plan to start serving alcohol in the future. Ginza is a great spot to stop by

Ginza is in a new location between Whole Foods, Gentlemen's Warehouse and L&L. The new location is larger than the Ward Center spot and parking is easier in the back since D&B moved to Ala Moana. The food is still as fresh as can be and tastes great. I ordered the Nigiri Deluxe Set which combines 9 different pieces of nigiri with 9 pieces (3 grouped sets) of sashimi. This was perfect for a huge appetite like mine and it comes with miso soup and pickled appetizers. There are other sets available for nigiri sushi, sashimi or chirashi also. That final star will come when the liquor license is approved or transferred and alcohol is added to the menu. Call to see if BYOB is available.

One of my favorite sushi spots in town! Their new location in Ward is nice inside and they are now BYOB (major plus!). They have a pretty big menu which is nice. We ordered a combo plate and some speciality sushi rolls. Everything tasted delicious and so fresh! Our server was also very nice and attentive to our table. I do wish they had better outdoor seating options though.
