A Fresh Take on Honolulu Grazing
Stepping into Fig & Ginger near the heart of Waikiki, you immediately notice the absence of heavy, deep-fried fare. This spot has carved out a niche for itself by focusing on the art of the charcuterie board. It is less of a traditional restaurant and more of an elevated snack sanctuary, perfect for those afternoons when you want to pair a crisp glass of wine with something visually stunning.
Curated Boards for Island Living
The culinary philosophy here centers on balance. The signature boards are meticulously arranged with high-quality imported cheeses, cured meats, and fresh local fruit that highlight the best of what Hawaii’s markets provide. You will hear the gentle hum of island chatter and the clinking of glassware, a soundtrack that defines the relaxed, upscale pace of this neighborhood staple.
Why You Might Visit
Whether you are prepping for a sunset beach picnic or looking for a light lunch that won’t slow you down, this is your go-to. It is an ideal spot for couples or solo travelers who appreciate a sophisticated aesthetic. Do keep in mind that space is at a premium; the footprint is small, which makes for an intimate experience, but you might find yourself waiting for a table during the peak golden hour rush. The staff has a knack for pairing bold, spicy jams with creamy bries, ensuring every bite has a distinct contrast. If you are exploring the culinary scene near the Honolulu coastline, this is the place to indulge in mindful, slow-paced dining.

I finished a walk and wanted some Granola. This location popped up and living in Hawaii, I have never been here. I decided to go and I ordered off their menu the Granola which said it included granola, Greek yogurt, berries, banana and honey. $14 was the cost which seemed a little steep even for Hawaii but I got it. The server was amazing and clearly the owner does not care about the employees. She was the only one serving the customers with 9 tables to herself to take orders, serve the orders, cash out the orders. I felt bad for her. Back to the granola, when I got home to eat it, I was very disappointed. I think it was only about 8-10 Oz and was all yogurt. There was a 1/4 of a banana, 1 strawberry cut up' literally 6 blueberries and a small portion of granola. See the picture attached. It was not worth the $14 at all. Maybe the other food is good and based on the reviews, it seems good but come on, the cost of goods to the employer has to be like $2 max for this bowl with such small portions and to charge $14 is down right scamming your customers.

Extremely pleasant experience! Food was phenomenal, staff were attentive and polite, and the prices were more than appropriate given the portion size and quality. Pictured was the Caprese toast, rose honey latte, and homemade granola (yogurt). Only downside, seating area is a little small and this place is rightfully busy. Food came out quick!

My husband and I had the salmon Benedict, carrot juice drink, fig and almond latte and banana caramel smoothie. All delicious. They were doing a special and had the salmon Benedict and we were both so excited about that. Reasonable prices in a great location. The staff was really nice and efficient! You won’t be disappointed coming here! Background music was nice.
