About
A Morning Ritual in the Heart of Honolulu
Stepping into this downtown coffee spot feels like a direct transition from the humid tropical air of Oahu into a space defined by the sharp, metallic hiss of a La Marzocco machine. It is a no-frills, high-efficiency destination favored by local professionals and early-risers who treat their caffeine intake with architectural precision.
Crafted for the Serious Sipper
The menu steers clear of sugary, blended concoctions. Instead, the focus remains squarely on the bean. They source exclusively from island-grown roasts, highlighting the distinct volcanic soil profiles found in Kona and Ka’u. Whether you order a long black or a micro-foam latte, the texture is consistently silky. You will often hear the clatter of ceramic against stone counters, a rhythmic soundtrack to the morning rush that echoes against the minimalist, industrial walls.
The Local Nuance
While the coffee is world-class, be prepared for a quick-turnover environment. Space is limited, and the sidewalk traffic on the block can be intense during the mid-morning peak. It is the kind of place where you stand at the bar, watch the skilled baristas weigh their grounds to the gram, and finish your drink while leaning against the window to watch Honolulu go by. It is ideal for those who value efficiency and regional authenticity over comfortable lounge chairs.

Taro ube latte is our #1 go to. A slightly sweetened ube taste but the flavor is a great addition to the well made coffee. The prince latte with a caramel and sea salt is a really good coffee as well! Indoor and outdoor seats. Counter seating and bench seating. Pastries were not as tasty as the coffee though. Apple turnover was just alright. You can get the pastries warmed up. Breakfast items seem a bit pricy. Coffee prices are on par for Honolulu.

Amazing coffee shop! The taro ube latte is possibly the best coffee drink I’ve ever had. The açaí bow and honey latte were exceptional. Super great vibes in here too. The staff is super friendly and tons of locals coming and going. Highly recommend!

We stopped here just be chance early morning on a weekday and had a wonderful small little breakfast. We both had already had coffee, so we came here for a small bite to eat, which is kind of funny considering it's a coffee place. I got an acai bowl and my wife got a cinnamon toast thing. Both were really good and totally hit the spot. We're definitely going to come back here and next time we'll order coffee as well. The inside was nice and comfortable, there was another person there who had a cute dog that looked like a corgi/chihuahua mix, it added to the charm of the place!
