I really want to support this business because I’m vegan and appreciate what they’re trying to do. But charging $25 or more for organic grapes seems extremely high. They may need stronger negotiation skills when it comes to wholesale purchasing and supplier relationships. Better pricing strategies could help them stay competitive while still supporting organic and plant-based values.

We love visiting Down to Earth when we're travelling to Oahu. We order sandwiches and fries from the Deli, and love the baked goods as well. The service is always great. The food is fresh. Love it! Thank you!

Down to Earth is 👍🏼🏆👍🏼! Super clean stores, great products, healthy & sustainable. Lots of local grown fruits & veg. Excellent place to fill up your reusable 5 gallon water💧 jug at their self serve water station. Filtered & Alkaline water choices available. Because.... Single use Bottled water is a Scam (& the antichrist) !! Yes, it probably seems pricey BUT orient towards quality vs quantity! Only 1 gripe, Down to Earth: please PLEASE put out MORE "expiring" or clearance discount items vs unnecessary "throw away" waste! Allow customers to absorb all this "excess" inventory instead of contributing to the 40% of 🇺🇸 food supply that is "thrown away" (wasted) each year!! Support local! Support conscientious!

Especially da s’mores and ube ones… OMG 🤤 I always gotta stock up on all da vegan goodies whenever I’m here. Just came from my laser therapy appointment at Dr. Oda’s office, so I needed something good to fuel my body. Hit up da café and ordered da F BOMB—so many ono options to choose from! Big shoutout to Hiromi for whippin’ it up super quick. Was straight onolicious 🤙🏽 Ho, da Nutrition section is my kryptonite. They get all my favorites, AND you cannot beat da prices. Scored my Women’s Creatine on sale—win win! Also gotta give big mahalos to GM Jessica for checking in on me and making sure I was taken care of. Jessica and Deia were so sweet and helped me find exactly what I needed. Honestly, this store is one true gem. I always make sure to stop here whenever I’m on da island. They get everything you need for your health and wellness journey, and I guarantee you’ll find plenty gems inside. Mahaloz to da whole DTE ‘ohana for making my day! 🌈🌺

Down to Earth has been a staple for me on Maui, so I was stoked to make it back to its origins on Oahu. They’ve got twice the selection in the hot food bar (YUM!) but these spicy tofu inari BLEW my MIND. I’m going to ask them back on Maui if they can get these. They didn’t have the mock meat luncheon musubis on Oahu that they do on Maui, so yall should considering asking them about them here. They’re also DELICIOUS.

Down to Earth is the local version of Sprouts or Trader Joe’s, with a unique and highly desirable selection. It’s Disneyland for health-nuts, especially for peeps like us with a gluten intolerance and a keto diet. Everything is clean, well stocked, abundant, and delicious. Not pictured here is the amazing, out of this world vegan, gluten-free spread we ordered for Thanksgiving. Honest to goodness out of this world delicious stuff. And it wasn’t an absolute cluster f..k like WFs was. Just saying. And we had to pick up our outrageously priced cold turkey from there so we know. This place is a jewel. Vegan + vegetarian options galore!! Locally owned speciality grocery market so its a bit pricier than other super markets. This market is newly built/modern, clean and well kept. Service here is friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating area along Keawe St Inside has ample seating options as well. Great place to wait for your pizza to be made Prepared foods like lasagna, Sandwiches and wraps are tasty and readily available. The hot food section is also great. Parking entrances along South St, Keawe St and Pohukaina. Take a ticket and Down to Earth will validate for you at cashier/check out for 2 hours.

Attractive natural foods grocery store, with self-care products like medicinal items and shampoo. Also has a hot food counter and salad bar, everything of which looks delicious. The kombucha wall is impressive (prices are a bit steep, though this applies to the entire shop). Has some local brands, yay. Lots of different types of chocolate bars. For whatever reason, the receipts are a mile long, which seems a strange and unfortunate use of paper, particularly for a shop like this, with its reputed earth-friendly bent.
