Deck.

Ten toes down the BEST breakfast experience I’ve probably ever had! It’s in our cute hotel the Queen Kapi’olani. Our server was super sweet and quick to serve us, the food was absolutely excellent (huge portions & delicious) and we had an exceptional view of Diamond Head. It showered on us for a few minutes which was so fun and then it cleared up again and we were rewarded with a double rainbow 🌈 ❤️ And there were plenty of adorable bird friends to see as we dined, so cute! Nothing short of magical and you don’t have to stay here to enjoy it either it’s open to the public, but book in advance! SO worth it 🌺🤙🏻

We loved the views, and the servers and the food and drinks. Start with the Brussels sprouts. The Kauai Garlic Prawns were amazing. The Braised short ribs also fantastic. Very good chicken wings. Prices were better than some other places, possibly because this is pretty far down on the Waikiki strip of commerce. Remington, or server was fast and friendly! Loved it and we look forward to coming back. VictorB

By far the most meh food we had on our week long trip in Oahu, truffle fries were fantastic but everything else was fine bordering on bad. However the waitstaff was the nicest we had in Oahu and the best view we had for dinner. So yes, I would go back again and get the truffle fries and try something else. I feel like the food was very well priced and affordable as well. The lemonade and other drinks were very good too. Free prosecco the night we came!

We had a fantastic time eating at the deck! We went twice, first for dinner out on the patio. We caught the end of sunset and it was gorgeous. The food was phenomenal and our toddler loved it!! A little windy so her drawing and crayons kept flying off the table and we had to chase it but the food came out fast so it was no worries. We went again for brunch and it was SO good. Get the braised beef loco moco!! Amazing views of diamond head.

Vibe: absolutely beautiful view and nice outdoor and shade seat. Service isn’t too bad but it takes long time to prepare food… I thought their menu options are not that great but their food was just awful. French toast was just fried bread taste it was greasy, wing wasn’t good either. Even egg benedict was just eatible. It’s too unfortunate this restaurant has amazing atmosphere but awful food.. I really wish they change menu and recipes cuz their restaurant is too pretty to have bad food.

Dinner at the Deck was outstanding. The half chicken featured a small yet hearty bird with a fresh and organic flavor…the way chicken SHOULD taste (I’d forgotten!). The braise short ribs offered a generous portion paired with rustic mashed potatoes studded with roasted garlic cloves and a perfectly steamed sprig of broccoli. Both the chocolate cheesecake and pecan tartlet were perfectly sized and yummy beyond belief. In daylight the view of Diamondhead from the deck is stunning. And the vibe inside the dining room is just right. We will be back.

Being able to see the Diamond Head without any obstruction of view is fabulous but the food was just ok. The braised beef loco moco was great but please don’t order the açaí bowl or the salad…

Go for the ambiance and the views of Diamond Head, not necessarily the food. Went during happy hour. No wait, but still recommend getting a reservation. Parking across the street for less than $10.

We came by for a drink and some appetizers during its Happy Hour (2-6 pm). The food was fine, nothing spectacular, but the view was. The Kona beer that I had was very good at $6 a can, no complaints there. Our server was cheerful and attentive. It’s a wonderful place to relax when the crowds start to thin out in Waikiki. Note: during its Happy Hour, you can only order from its limited menu, so this review is pertaining only to its Happy Hour menu.

The atmosphere was beautiful overlooking Diamond Head and a very narrow view of the beach sunset that everyone squeezed in to share. We were a party of three. It took about an hour to get the food which I was ok but they got the food wrong and thus had to wait another hour. So it took almost 2 hours. I didn't want to eat it any longer. There was no comp, no comp dessert, or any discount to the bill just constant apologies for staffing and large parties. We didn't even get a visit from the front of the house manager. Unfortunately, the food and wait did not meet the expensive bill price. I highly recommend another restaurant which Waikiki has a plethora of. Also, they need to remove the purple potatoes from the menu. If you don't know how to present or season it, it shouldn't be on the menu. It was a huge miss and disappointment and I love Japanese purple sweet potato. A positive is that they offer vegetarian and GF options (just bring your own Adobo or Lawry's seasoning in your bag.)
