Dave & Buster's Ala Moana
About
Electric Energy in the Heart of Ala Moana
Stepping into Dave & Buster's at the Ala Moana Center feels like shifting into a higher gear. The massive, high-ceilinged space hums with the frantic chime of redemption games and the muffled roar of sports broadcasts playing on screens that seem to cover every available inch of wall space. It is the kind of place where the air smells faintly of sizzling flatbreads and deep-fryer oil, a nostalgic aroma that signals a long afternoon of competitive fun.
Game Play Meets Island Flavors
While the focus remains on the expansive Million Dollar Midway, the menu offers a surprisingly robust selection for those taking a break from the racing simulators and virtual reality pods. The kitchen leans into crowd-pleasers like their signature Goldfingers—crispy, hand-breaded chicken tenders—and a range of burgers that pair well with a frosty beer after a walk around the surrounding shopping district. Because of the location’s popularity among tourists and locals looking for a post-shopping escape, the noise level can climb quickly on weekend nights, creating a high-energy environment that suits groups of friends rather than intimate dates.
Navigating Your Visit
One reality of visiting this Honolulu entertainment hub is the challenge of the Ala Moana parking garage, which can be a labyrinth during peak holiday or weekend hours. Once you find your spot, however, the seamless transition from the sunshine of the Pacific coast into the neon-lit, climate-controlled game floor is immediate. It is an ideal spot for those looking to burn off steam with a game of Skee-Ball or to catch a major pay-per-view fight in a venue that doesn't take itself too seriously. If you have a competitive streak or just want to introduce the kids to classic arcade cabinets alongside modern tech, this central hub delivers exactly what the name promises: a reliable, high-volume slice of American-style play.

From the customer service to the food everything was awesome! And when I say awesome every time we came here food was on point to the desserts 👍🏼👌 the service so awesome great place my boys always have fun here. The prizes for the games are a little bit too pricey but overall e everything else is great. And our Server Richie very on point tell them give you a raise !

Not only a great place to take your kids for games, but an AWESOME spot for food! The half rack of ribs was fire as was the quesadilla. Portion sizes are GIANT, and it’s all around good food. There’s tons of seating for families or parties, a great spot to watch sports, and some quieter tables away from the games too. Lots of parking as well in the à la Moana basement parking garage.

I’m sure we came on a really good day, service was amazing and the food was so good! It wasn’t extremely crowded, so we were able to play games without feeling rushed or crowded. The manager Anita came to check on us and asked how everything was and offered to get our table anything while we were waiting on our food, very thoughtful. Reloading the game cards can be a bit pricey and depending which package you get, it caps you on tickets. There was times we would get jackpot on some games, but wouldn’t load to the game cards so “it’s just for fun” and that’s why i gave the review 4 ⭐️’s. Overall, extremely satisfied with our service.

Had a great time here with our family for my daughter's 7th birthday! We had 2 hours of crazy game playing followed by a delightfully unhealthy dinner. Our favorite game to play was the fishing game! Food was great! Burgers and fries were all hot and yummy, and my wife said the salad was good too! I had a couple of margaritas that were in special and they were nicely made with lots of ice.

Great food and spot to watch sports, especially when the wife is shopping all day. Games have gotten really expensive and the rewards less cool, but its hawaii and there's fun for everyone. staff is really nice and helpful

Lots of value and fun can be had for you and yours! We were here with a party of six for a small Kine birthday party for our 11-year-old daughter and everyone made it a memorable night for our Ohana!! Went there Saturday about 330p. Busy but feee parking. Reservations not necessary. Our server was really good. We had Pink patron (cocktail: a little strong), quesadilla (lots of meat in it), game day grub (good variety), cajun shrimp pasta (tasty and i would eat this again). We played and had fun, but i thought there would be more games. I think the the old ward location gave more of a gameroom vibe.

4.5/5 Stars – Tasty Bites, Great Deals, and Fun Vibes!** We had a blast at this spot—the food was quite good, and those sliders really hit the spot! Their happy hour truly made us happy (lol), with solid deals that kept things affordable. While ordering, the bartender clued us in on their "play bundle," which gives a major discount on food if you also play games—perfect since we were planning to anyway! We super appreciated the heads-up; it helped us save some cash without missing out on the fun. The games were a highlight, and overall, it's a fantastic place to relax, grab a bite, and enjoy yourself. We'll definitely be back!

The food is amazing. I have no complaints on the food. Fast turnaround time. There are times that it seemed to be too packed in the dining and game area. The games are fun but the versus games last less then 10 seconds. The best bang for the buck game is bowling.
