About
A Neighborhood Hangout in the Heart of Honolulu
Tucked away from the typical tourist trails of Waikiki, Club Green Tee serves as a functional, no-frills anchor for the local Honolulu community. This isn't a place for white-tablecloth service; it is a spot where the clatter of silverware against plate-lunch containers rings out over the hum of ceiling fans. If you are looking for an authentic slice of everyday life in the islands, this is where residents head for a quick, filling meal.
What to Expect on Your Plate
The kitchen focuses on classic Hawaiian comfort food with a lean toward generous portions and high-value pricing. You will find staples like savory loco moco, crispy katsu, and fresh-catch specials that reflect the daily market availability. The flavors lean into local preferences—think bold teriyaki glazes and sides of macaroni salad that hit just the right balance of creamy and tangy.
The Island Atmosphere
The environment is laid-back and strictly casual. It is the kind of place where you might struggle a bit to find parking during the busy lunch rush, and the acoustic levels can climb when the local crowd settles in for a post-work pau hana. It is perfectly suited for solo diners grabbing a quiet lunch or small groups of friends who prioritize good food over fancy decor. The interior feels lived-in and comfortable, stripping away any pretension to focus entirely on the quality of the cooking. Whether you are navigating the streets of Oahu or just need a reliable place to recharge, Club Green Tee offers a straightforward experience that feels distinctly connected to the Honolulu lifestyle.

This is a bar. A lot of TVs, Karaoke. Group parties have brought in some of their own food. But they have a full kitchen if you don't have food. Relaxed atmosphere and private room for your group. They open early so that I can catch my college orpro football game. A great place to watch UH sports as well.

5/2025 Still a good place to hang out with ono food! Staff friendly and mama is good people. 5/2023 I rarely go but met some friends after work. Good food, cheap drinks, good hostesses. Mama's are good, and so are the kitchen Mama's. Everyone seems to have migrated here from what I've heard. ✌️
