Chick-fil-A (1450 Ala Moana Blvd Ste 1160H Ste 1160H)

i haven’t visited this location in awhile but stopped by to redeem some rewards. the portions have noticeably shrunk. the chick-fil-a cool wrap used to be in a plastic box and was bigger. also, the waffle fries used to be overfilled but now it just meets the edge. everything tasted great but portions have shrunk.

So incredibly hard to find with Google and the Mall maps. If only either had given directions to the food court. Google had us going up the elevator, then down the escalator. We finally asked a Girl Scout & her Mom whose directions got us there. Insanely busy, but always delicious.

Chick-fil-A in the US years ago used to be really good. This one here in Hawaii, the chicken McNuggets are small and dry, and the chicken in my deluxe sandwich was so skinny. Not a great taste, just not what I used to remember 10 years ago. The milkshakes here are ok, but for about the same amount of money, I would go to Häagen-Dazs across the court and have a way better vanilla shake

So very popular! The fries are great, crunchy and golden. The chicken fil a burger was average, I found. The pickles were thin and lacked a punch, a little soggy too. The burger itself was dry as a whole and needed more, like sauce. I did add the chick fil a sauce halfway through and it definitely tastes better. Overall I would say try it if you're within the vicinity but don't go out of your way for it.

Only negative is that they open at 10am and don’t serve breakfast. Why don’t they serve breakfast? There was a line waiting for them to open. They have a new way of taking orders. Instead of going to the counter, there are cashiers at stations in front of the waiting area to take your order. It reminds me of a drive through but with pedestrians and inside of a mall. The food was hot and fresh as always. But at 10am I still would have liked breakfast.

5 stars for the food, less 1 star for the service. The trainee who took our order still had our order wrong though my wife said NUMBER 3 which is the Nuggets meals. Instead she gave us 2 orders of Chicken sandwich. Anyways people makes mistakes so its all good. Love their chicken sandwich, nuggets and waffle fries.
