California Pizza Kitchen (1450 Ala Moana Blvd Ho'okipa Terrace)

We were overcharged for our meal. We always take advantage of half priced take and bake when we dine in but we were charged full price and when we inquired about the mistake we’re told where did you see that! I’m surprised that the staff doesn’t even know that menu. The serving portion has definitely shrunk.

Great California Pizza Kitchen location on the top floor of the mall. Really good options from salads, chicken, pasta, seafood, and sandwich dishes. Even cauliflower pizza crust. Nice and attentive service as well.

Food is always great as usual. Service was great as well. Great place to dine for lunch or dinner. Tonight was busy. We had to wait for about 30 mins. We got our food pretty fast even though they were busy. My appetizer plate was dirty with leftover crumbs from previous person that used it. I asked for a new plate and got it. Second time around when hubby’s soup came the server gave us 2 spoons. One of the spoon was dirty and same thing the spoon was dirty with leftover food from previous person that used it and on the handle had some food that was dried and bumpy. I didn’t want to ask the server for another spoon for the second time. We’ve been to this location many times and never had an issue. Reason for the 2 star is because of cleanness. They should make sure the utensils, plates and bowls are washed properly.

This was my second time visiting this location. The food was excellent. Cami (leadership) was in the kitchen making pizzas and salmon. She was very accommodating and friendly. Alea was working carry out. She was so pleasant and professional. She wasn’t our server but was willing to pick up where our server was lacking. She was the highlight of our visit. David was our server and he typically has a mean mug on his face. He is not welcoming at all. He is attentive and shows special treatment to a certain demographic. This is my second time experiencing him as a server. And I feel like if you’re irritated with having a customer service job. You should pursue a different career path. Side note: We were not difficult. We did not send anything back and didn’t ask for a discount. We did not complain to management either. We were actually ordering multiple foods to taste test so that I could do a review. My suggestion would be some more diversity training and leadership checking staffs attitudes and posture during their shifts. We ordered margherita pizza, chicken pizza, Caesar salad, street corn, fettuccine, tomato soup and a few drinks. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this location and I will be back.

"Disappointing experience. I ordered the Kung Pao Spaghetti, but it looked nothing like the photo and was incredibly bland. To make matters worse, no utensils or napkins were provided. Since I was dining outdoors, this made it impossible to eat. Very inconvenient."

I really love going to CPK when I am in Hawaii. Very sad the one in Waikiki closed! We visited twice whilst shopping at lunch time. One day the AC wasn't working and it was hot inside but no big deal just the bin smell wasn't nice haha. The service was ok nothing special, polite staff but they were busy. The man who served us on our second visit (maybe a manager!?) refilled our cokes after we asked but he didn't give us new glasses so the glasses came back with the same straws and we didn't know who's was who's. BBQ chicken pizza on thin crust is so good. Will be back when on our next vacation

It's on the 3rd floor of the mall. I would say this CPK is better than most of the CPK I have visited in California. The salad was very fresh, the chicken and shrimp were cooked/prepared perfectly. In additon, you get a nice view of the harbor while you dine. Service was also very good.

We arrived late after 8, cold, wet & hungry after spending most of our day at the beach. I requested the warm part of the restaurant & Nick the hostess are very accommodating. Food is good as expected. The service was super fast and our server Erika was very friendly, & efficient.

We were utterly disappointed with the steak. It was dry and it had no flavor. It was also not that hot upon serving. Pizza was also on the hard side. Loved the Butter Cake and Mango Sangria though.

Wow!! I feel like they don’t advertise it at all, but this location in particular has certified gluten free options for sensitive celiacs like myself! The waiter explained everything really well. In short, they have a separate area and separate toppings they use for the gluten free pizza, and then they put it in a special tin foil covering for the oven. It was also a delicious meal, and the others in the group that ate gluten were equally satisfied. My boyfriend also ate gluten free, and we ordered the barbecue chicken pizza and the meat and mushroom pizza. Delicious!
