Bevy
About
Sip and Savor in the Heart of Kaka'ako
Stepping into Bevy feels like catching a local secret before it fully hits the mainstream. Located right in the pulse of Honolulu's most vibrant arts district, this space trades traditional tourist polish for an industrial-chic aesthetic that mirrors the neighborhood’s warehouse roots. It is the kind of spot where the walls are textured with history and the lighting is kept low, making it an ideal hideout for anyone looking to escape the beachfront crowds.
The Art of the Pour
The bartenders here treat mixology with academic rigor. Don't expect a standard menu that stays static; the team behind the bar frequently experiments with house-made bitters and infusions that lean heavily on local ingredients. Whether you are after a complex, spirit-forward concoction or a crisp, refreshing highball that cuts through the tropical humidity, the craft cocktail program is widely regarded as some of the most technical work in the city. The acoustics are lively, so come prepared for a space that hums with conversation rather than a hushed library atmosphere.
Shared Plates for the Modern Palate
The food menu follows a social-first philosophy. Expect globally inspired small plates that lean into farm-to-table sourcing. It is a fantastic choice for a group of friends who want to graze through a variety of flavors without committing to a formal, multi-course structure. Be aware that the kitchen’s output moves in sync with the bar, so it’s best to order a few rounds of food at a time. The dining room can get packed during weekend happy hours, so if you are driving in, plan for a bit of a hunt for street parking in the surrounding blocks of Kaka'ako. It is a true local favorite for those who prioritize a well-crafted drink and an unpretentious, high-energy environment.

Very disappointing experience. We made a reservation 4 days in advance for Ethiopian food, but when we arrived, no one attended to us. After waiting 10 minutes, we had to go to the bar ourselves, where we were told only bar seating was available despite our reservation. We ordered 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, and 1 main dish, then waited over an hour with no food. When I finally asked, I was told that people who arrived after us had already been served. That is completely unacceptable. There was no coordination, no communication, and the service was very poor. Being charged for our drinks after waiting that long and having to leave without eating made the experience even worse. Really disappointing.

A fun cool place. The bartenders are scientists! Tell them what you're in the mood for and let them mix away!! The appetizers are very good!! After a certain time it opens up to a club! Good house music. Pro tip. Get there early and chill at the bar!

Surprised I don't have a review for this place, whaaat!!! It's a solid goto spot for cocktails and bites. Wish they had mo betta beers, but guess that's not there thing. Can park at salt or street if lucky. Like the happy hour which is all night Tuesdays and 5-7 pm Wed to Sat. Always aloha service and the rustic vibes.

Stopped in for a quick drink around 5ish on a Wednesday before our dinner reservation nearby. It was happy hour at that time (Wed-Sat, 5 to 7). They have some cocktails for $12, wines for $14, beer for $5-$6, and discounted bar snacks. There was something called “cocktail of the day” as a part of the happy hour menu, which I don’t think they really set because when we asked the bartended about it, she said she could just make us whatever we liked. So she asked what our liquor of choice was (whiskey) and if we liked more sweet/sour/strong. My husband and I each told her our preferences and she expertly made us each two very different drinks that we both enjoyed. You could tell she was a bartended who was actually good at her job, and not one just pouring alcohol. If we didn’t have the dinner reservation, we probably would have stayed for another drink and some bar snacks. Definitely worth checking out – especially during happy hour!

Loud but unique DJ mix. Service at the bar was great. The food was good overall. We had topped fries and a cuban. The atmosphere was definitely good, except... for a place designed for gathering and talking, you had to yell to the person next to you. The upside-down (cocktail) was delightful.

I love thé drink and the appetizers they have here. Since it’s a drinking spot, they don’t have much foods but the appetizers were really great. The service was also good. There was a live DJ when we were there. So overall it was a great first experience.

Nice atmosphere for a date night! Our server was helpful & provided help with recommending cocktails to our taste. The food was delicious! Just small portions for the money. eg: a plate of corn chips with a small salsa was $9, and a single soft taco the size of my palm was $8. Having said that - it was worth the money for the flavour and quality of ingredients! Just don’t come here for food if you’re expecting value over quality.

What an amazing vibe ! I absolutely loved the jazz and the ambience. It could be an amazing date night but I went for intimate time with my girl friend. I absolutely loved how the menu portions were fairly big and pretty decently priced.

Great food. A lot of different options that you don’t normally see anywhere else. Liked the chance to get to try a bunch of small plates. Reminded me of tapas place. The drinks were really good. The waitress was super helpful with picking something I wouldn’t normally get.
